You might not think it particulary funny as ABOFAL sketches go, but on the other hand - you might.. If you've ever had the misfortune of talking to real-life real estate agents... :):)

One thing you've got to say about Fry & Laurie, they weren't afraid to give their guests the funniest lines.
The "Please, give generously." always cracks me up.
Edit: Love the way she looks at them when she says "And, now you are running a petrol station." You can tell how irritated she already is with them and is really thinking of murdering them.

For some reason i find their way of speaking incredibly satisfying to watch.
I love that they talk fast (at least that’s what it seems to me English is not my mother language so idk)

Yep - I know which line you mean and you're right, it was beautifully observed and executed! Lots of little gems in this sketch alone, let alone a whole episode - just love these two.

Actually, as said by Laurie and Fry in many of their interviews, they write what is funny to them. So, lines might not seem funny to the listeners when imagining it on paper but for them, it's funny.

These days they are everywhere. Blocking the traffic while trying to find the fastest lane, the supermarket queue and arguing over outdated discount coupons, the hospital waiting room screaming they are most sick and on the beach trying to convince you to buy their place who is closest to the ocean and sometimes in the ocean and on and on ... Lets get a free from estate agents day to charge our lifeforce from further tempting deals who just gets you back to the start point. LETS DO IT. 😄👍

When I pour £10 worth of petrol through your letterbox and flick a match in, I reckon you'll be glad that the local fire engines all have internal combustion engines and that the firemen aren't all waiting at the bus stop.

We don't have "Real" Estate over here. Basically, here in England where English was invented, our Estate Agents are also free to even sell fake estate too, like a cardboard home, and if you don't use a surveyor to find out, it's your fault, innit?
