Fated raids are actually dope. Allows players to get more of the gear they desire at a relevant ilvl. Too bad they added it when almost everyone stopped playing lmfao
I think that's half the reason they added it though, to get some people back. It definitely worked at the start, classic wrath ripped me right off of retail though lol

Just finished watching the video where he first took on the Sepulcher raid. Now to watch this one :)
Let's be honest. They managed to clear half of the raid on mythic in less than 2 hours, which is pretty good to be honest. It was fated this week so they didn't even outgear the bosses.

If not for the title of the video, I would've heard that as "were going to do mythic castle nathria faded"
respect to the guy that left right away, also it never fails to impress me the spectrum of intelligence of wow players, he said "reset it" (to drop sated debuff from bloodlust), and we still have people that coulnt figure it out, its only the second pull in the raid and you can tell just how its gonna go for him
Totally fair point about having titanforging up to heroic, IF you take you can buy plenty of boes with high ilvl. My issue with that is that the boes shouldn't be a thing on the first place. It's quite literally pay to win.

Just started watching... consider in addition to the gear gap demo locks perform a whole ~45% better than fury warriors on Shriekwing. (Just comparing the average of top 100 parses) That plus getting targeted to move out. I'm not saying he would have kept up with the big boys but not nearly as bad as it looks.
How can you even play retail atm. Every time I log in it just feels so empty and hollow.

I'm getting PTSD flashbacks from raid leading this raid... Some of these bosses were shit shows when people refused to understand the mechanics.
i really love how asmongold understands that casual enjoyment is what matters for a success of the game, removing titanforging was so bad, it made me do lfr and spam content just for the chance to get some cool stuff. only high end players were negatively affected yet they got the majority of the community on their side because people dont like if other people have nice stuff

Was thinking about going back to warrior for dragon flight but if this is there damage then I’m sticking with death knight
Actual state of Dragonflight right now: Rushed, unfinished, not nearly as much testing or adjustments as it actually needs, and Blizz still ignoring all feedback and thinking they know best (they absolutely do not ).
Get ready for yet another xpac where you're playing the beta for 1.5 years, and then Blizz will finally "fix" everything in the last major patch of the xpac.
Heck, just this week Blizz said "we're not doing any more major changes to talent trees" even though more than half the specs in the game feel as bad or worse to play than in Shadowlands.
Not to mention their terrible reasoning for the Soar nerfs and their even worse response: "soar allows people who play Drak'thyr the ability to run old content and do pet battles too fast, so we're nerfing the max speed", people rightfully point out how Blizz is being fun police for literally no good reason, and they respond with "we'll just reduce the cooldown from 5 min to 4, that's good enough"
This is the make-or-break xpac for the game - since Wrath it's been one good > one bad > one good > one bad xpacs (though there should never be any bad ones in the first place), but BfA and SL were two terrible xpacs in a row, and at this rate Dragonflight is shaping up to be number 3 in that line.
Can somebody say whats the real problem with wow that most people complain about it ? ( i dont play the game due to the fact that i dont have a pc and personal reasons etc.)
It's too complicated from what I hear. I'm playing classic so I know what I'm getting into.
Story-wise it went from survival at a personal "this is a cool world" level to a doomsday scenario. The world is always at threat rather than a local warlord being an issue.

Too many convoluted systems; too many "optional" task you have to do; World of "expansioncraft" instead of World of warcraft; less mmo more solo rpg; lost of social elements compared to old school classic, etc, etc
Yeah what they said, it's too complicated. The game is still enjoyed by a dedicated crowd but it has become a lot more niche due to how insanely difficult it is to keep up gear wise AND to play through high end content. I dont think it's a "bad game" but it isn't the massively accessible world-class WoW of yesteryear

I could never play WoW, always felt it was extremely boring to me, could never get into it, not even watching others play.
But for some reason I do like watching Asmongold play it, it's entertaining.

Retail wow just doesn't appeal to me anymore. So much stuff going on, so many spells (by players and mobs). You can't even see wtf is going on on screen from all the AOE spells and damage numbers

Damage numbers he has are from an addon. Normal font doesn't stack like crazy and is very manageable. Fair point on the AOE though, even if it's less immersive I feel red circles or better telegraphed spells would be much better

CN was my favorite raid from this expansion. only bad thing was sun king... horrible fight imo super boring. healer check fights where youre just healing a target is freaking boring and unimaginative
@@Kytrion if you like it thats cool, but i like learning the timing of a fight as a healer. Also, popping CDs to save people lives. I just dont have the same thrill healing a stationary target.

2th boss remained me when I just started playing wow and was progressing it. Spent like 3h to kill it first time on mythic.

1:08:00 So, asmon has locked people out with a minimum I lvl, if you allow lucky people to boost their ilvl then they will have good gear but haven't proven they're good enough to attain that gear naturally in a raid. Does that make sense?

This is why I don’t like retail. You have to do so much to “level up” in other expansion based system alongside with the normal gearing up and know the fight to perform well in raid.
@@Telopead I understand, I just don’t like classic because the time it takes for someone casually playing to level is insane, I spent a week playing and got to lvl 20, and then it took hours to find people to run DM.

Damn bro wish I would’ve known you were doing mythic. Woulda said F my guild and brought my parses to you. I bet my guild would bring you to our mythic raids too if you ever interested. Also on hungering you use an add on called infinite raid tools. Sets up assignments automatically don’t even have to do anything. Even tells you when and when not to soak

God retail wow looks soo fucking horrible lmao level 60 82k health. Crit from 11k+… like what?! Dog you should have like 5k health and doing 2k crit at most
iirc the players were supposed to be level 120-130 ish(can't remember the exact value), but they squished the stats and the level so that it caps at 60. That's why you see level 60 retailers have 80k HP. They were originally level 120 or smth like that.
