As a little funfact, since you are using Torus and Donut interchangibly: A Donut is completely filled, while a Torus is just the outer shell and empty inside ;)
@@BEDplaysGAMES It's funny how I can't actually find sth credible... Well, more credible than the Stand Up Maths video where I saw it in... To me that is credible enough, but maybe not for everyone ^^
Great to see you back. So sorry to hear about your illness. A hot tip for crude oil processing: Make a blue print that takes 250 oil as it will turn into perfectly 240 Hydrocarbons. It's a 6:8, 6 blast furnaces to 8 chemical reactors. I made a blueprint that took all the byproducts to either a sink or some useful thing that kept the factory going as doing anything with crude oil is also making a power plant. So having a blue print or 2 makes a longer process just a few clicks. I could go into more detail, just ask, but I don't want to spoil the fun of figuring out Satisfactory plus. The big humps are oil, invar, and cobalt as they are more complicated processing that takes a lot of smaller factories to feed resources to your main one, but in this learning process you won't have any more overwhelming logistical moments until tier 8. Happy pioneering!!
Once I start processing the oil I'll come back to this comment. If I can't figure out what you mean I'll ask them. Thanks! I'm hoping to process all the byproducts to have everything run smoothly. Even with my small steel setup I have to empty the slag or gas by hand, I can't remember which.
Yeah! That's what I was trying to say. Such a mouthful. Back in the day I had the exact same style generator that went layer by layer and I used it to make a huge skull. I've been looking all over for it so I can build the skull in Satisfactory for a video but I can't find it.
@@BEDplaysGAMES yeah you never know how hard it will hit you. The first time I got Covid I just felt like being a bit under the weather but the second time I couldnt do anything. Everything I tried to do just hurt so that wasn’t nice haha :D
this is going to be pretty awesome when its done! you could even round out the outside. this might be a trick you make a video on for your general building tip videos. as a side note, not sure if your into survival games, but have you thought about nightengale? I gave it a shot and im really enjoying it. the UI/UX could use some improvement, and crafting is..... detailed. but I love the setting!
Thanks! I loved the look of Nightingale. I signed up to try to get into the beta a while back. I've heard really mixed things, but it looks fantastic. I'm sort of put off by early access titles lately, but I'm sure I'll pick it up at some point.
@@BEDplaysGAMES sorry in advance for the wall of text! there are a couple things ive seen people complain about. mostly that its online only... however they are working on that to make a real single player option. ive heard some people complain about the combat, which I dont understand. sure combat is not as deep as an action RPG, but none of the survival games are lol. ive also heard that crafting is too complex and in depth. which may be true but I love how detailed it is. there is so many ways to craft your equipment that you really have to think about what your building. it might take you 15 minutes of thinking and crafting to get a piece of equipment to do what you want to do, or maximize the trait you want. but that makes your gear far more unique. it also is an early access title, its not optimized, the UI/UX still needs improvement, the prodecural generation does need some work, and more chunks to work with. but with all that, I love the setting, I love some of the unique ideas they have, and im willing to play and wait for it to improve, and even if it doesnt, at 30 dollars I still feel like im getting my moneys worth. if you have any questions im more than happy to answer them.
Mmmmmm, donut....... 😀 Oh, wait, where's the glazing?!? Just kidding, what a monument. Oil processing is going to be a handful, there's no getting around that fact, mainly due to handling all the by-products, but it's all good fun. Liquids = a few more grey hairs on the ol' noggin 😀 I've had covid twice. First time was no bother, second time was a bit rougher, but still mild, compared to what others described. Hope you are all getting back to normal. All the best and take care.
I should add a nice pink frosting and some sprinkles. I'm not sure I have any more room for any MORE grey on my head. But I'm excited. I want to really focus and do oil right this time. And thanks! We're on the mend. My wife is the only one still getting positive tests and she's a little run down. The rest of us are almost back to normal. I think I'll go back to avoiding COVID like the plague.
I think we were a combination of diligent and lucky! I like to interact with my parents/inlaws, so we tried to keep the old people in our lives safe. But we also have school-aged kids in public schools, so we were lucky not to catch it every other week.
just a quick question. Why not used the half-blcoks in the inner part on the top and bottom of the torus to increase the space inside? even so, i might thiunk, that using only walls and ceiling could do the same result but with even more space 🤔 i might have to install my Satisfactory for this again 😅
No good reason! That's a great idea, thanks. I get in my head and don't always consider better options...in this case it was use the minecraft tool to place "blocks" which for me meant 8m cubes. As I build out the storage area in the next episode I might just do this. Thanks!
Plastic this tier? You're going to be stuck here for a long time! Cause the rebalance is not out yet, right? So there is still all that bullshit that you need to get rid of during plastic production ^^
No rebalance yet. But soon, I think. I need to rush and finish before they complete and release that. I’m excited for all the plastic crazy. Last time out I only built a trickle. This time I want to process everything.

Hmm. I’m going to need you to cite a source lol

"Minecraft shape generators" are just voxel shape generators anyways
