I love a new Laurie video! Also love your intro, so cozy. 🎄 All the Colors of the Dark sounds good!! I haven't gotten to Middle of the Night yet but want to! And i think The Wedding People won the Goodreads award for best contemporary fiction I believe... with 25 you could read a title every two weeks and get them read in a year!
Read Magic Lessons first! That one is the origin story of the Owens sisters. According to Alice Hoffman, you can read them in any order, but I would recommend Magic Lessons, Rules, of Magic, Practical Magic, and then The Book of Magic. I think the only hard and fast rule would be to read The Book of Magic last because it will spoil the other books.
So many wonderful books, some I’ve read and some I have on want to read lists. Amor Towles is such a favorite author of mine, A Gentleman in Moscow was the first of his books I read. I only have a few BOTM books left to read on my shelves, but mainly because I haven’t subscribed in several years now. I did a loose accounting of all my unread books and it’s coming in around 120 or so. And that’s too many. I’m determined to bring that number down in 2025.
I don't do BOTM but I consider my bookstore's book and wine night books my "subscription." I have at least 40 of those still to read! So I feel your pain - but what a privilege, huh?
I can't wait to see how you're going to choose! They are all such interesting options you can't go wrong. I think I have about 5 left. I stopped with BITM about 2 years ago. They should sponsor you!!
I forgot to add that January through April 15 is a very busy time for me at work. I usually don’t have as much extra time on the weekends as I would like for reading.

My goal next year is to read 12 physical books. I have several botm that are in my pile.

Oh I’d love to get to five left. I really need to order less and read more this next year.
I would be interested in doing a buddy read of The Postmistress of Paris with you sometime next year.
Oh yes please! I would love that. Let me know when you think might be a good time for you.
@ Great! How about May 2025?
