First plush bear was created while Theodore Roosevelt was President. He was extremely popular amongst Americans, so when unsure what to name their Bear Plushy they just figured Teddy would be good enough. Hasn't changed since.

It would be hard, but I do understand why they don't. They want the release into the wild to give the bear 🐻 a good chance.
Mmm, you do know babies grow up, right? Give at least 4 years, this thing could be a real hassle to a human, if they choose survival over gratitude. I don’t know about a black bear’s bite force, but a grizzly’s has the power to deflate a bowling ball. No joke :(

In the wild bears are scared of ppl. And that is the only thing that keeps them from ripping your arms off for the mint in your pocket. They dont know they are stronger than ppl. But Im with ya. It would be hard not to hold that little baby.

Actually I think they are wrong not to cuddle it. The mother bear would have and then sent it away. Humans are so STUPID. They always. know best. Lately, I prefer animals. After all, most of the problems on this planet are caused by humans.

Oh my goodness what a sweet little baby. 💛If I was the rehabber I would have to take the baby bear to another rehabber to be helped the right way, because I absolutely would not be able to resist cuddling and snuggling that sweet tiny little love bug which wouldn’t be good for it. 😭

How do you know they are doing it right and they know what they are doing. Scientist are wrong sometimes and maybe they are not that qualified. After all, the mother bear would have cuddled it and then sent it away.

I'd be cuddling and playing with it all day but a nite just put on the discovery channel and bear gryles so that it learns all the hunting tips needed. It'd be fine then when put back in the wild.

She’s a baby she’s a little club she knows nothing about where she was born it sounds like she’s going to have a rough time acclimating to wherever she’s set free. Good luck with that - I’m more concerned about the bear cub and her safety when she is released !

You just can't drop a bear in the forest and hopes it lives. What do you think the mother is doing with her cubs for 2 years? teaching them what to eat, what is dangerous, just how to survive. And these humans are teaching it nothing.
omg not being able to snuggle her would be so hard. of course that is the only thing to do, but whew it would be tuff she is so huggable!
