BeatSaber is the game I always come back to. Its the combination of music, physical activity and the feeling when you mastered a song that you couldn't do the last time, that makes it fun.

My two faves are In Death Unchained and Demeo. If they would bring out Halo in VR I’d probably never take my headset off!!!😁😁

unfortunately there's no VR Halo campaign, BUT if you're trying to play Halo 3 PVP in VR... I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU: Contractors VR
They did it. I mean they REALLY did it. The game has full on mod support, internally, so no need for tricky mod installs and third party applications. There's a Halo mod that is breathtaking. It FEELS like Halo 3, completely, as if it were a AAA, bungie made, VR port for Halo 3.
They also have several other mods, to include Star Wars Battlefront... and likewise, it's 100% on-point.

I can not for the life of me get my quest 2 to stay online. Really don't know why that is. Tried to play quickplay online with Beat Saber today and my connection got interrupted ten times. Longest I could keep a connection was about four minutes. Anyone know why that is?

Bored with VR???? I'm using my Quest and Pico4 every day. Mornings for Fitness (Holofit and FitRX) and evenings for gaming (PCVR with Pico4) and often an hour of Beatsaber on the Quest.... anything is better than watching TV and falling asleep early. Last night I was playing minigolf with my Pico4, arrow shooting, and bowling... And then there are so many more games I love playing...like Half Life Alyx with it's add-ons (playing ever since it hit the market), Skyrim VR - just started playing again but want to add a lot of mods, Hubris, my most recent game, Half Life 2 VR (played until the end - one of the few games) and lot's more, but like I mentioned, most of them are PCVR games and nowadays I play them with my Pico4.

When I first got my Quest 2 I made a point to only buy games that had a lot of replayability to them. Stuff like rhythm games and online shooters. Helped a lot with the retention of the device. Started to just become a regular part of my day and it's sort of been that way for the last 2 years. Now that it's cold and wintery outside there are days my headset fills in for the run I can't go on on bad days which makes it an essential for my daily life. It's gone beyond games. It's exercise, it's a movie theater in VRChat, and even fills in for general desktop computing here and there when I just don't feel like sitting in the bedroom in front of the PC. I think the best way to keep yourself interested in VR as a medium is to move beyond just gaming.

My main games are Boneworks/lab, Into the radius, Fallout 4 VR, Skyrim VR, Ancient Dungeon, and No Man's Sky. Have also played other titles and need to go back to Beat Saber / Pistol Whip.
Also playing around with Unity and like to test small games in vr. lot's of garbage but also found few diamonds in adults games sector. It was nice to see some nice games from itch got to steam (like Ancient Dungeon VR).

I accidentally bought hyperdash and tried to return it, but the process was crazy to do that so I said I guess I'll just play it since I bought it. And then I played for like 2 hours straight lol really fun shooter game.

I am bored pretty often because of the best timesink games for me are MMORPG's and honestly there is simply none good on vr. I got my problems playing the same shooters over and over again if there is no real progress or reward. Also one problem is, that most games coming out are produced by very small dev teams and are limited in content. Even some of the good rated bestsellers feel to me like mobile games for smartphones. If there was a world connecting all these games, with a global currency and global teammaking, that would change alot. Most players wish there was something like the oasis. That would make such a big gameworld, no Developer Team could do this on their own. But maybe some kind of hub that connects all the different games via portals, so you can meet up with friend or strangers there and walk together into After the fall for some quick coins and then spend them for new equip in ghost of tabor for example.

Well I was hoping to find a better game to play but nope still bored with my headset, don't like survival games have beat saber it's fun but boredom hits quickly the only thing I have used it mainly for is to play mobile games on a bigger screen and to watch TH-cam that's it pretty annoying really

Fantastic list. Added a few to my wishlist and downloaded hyper dash. Can't wait to jump in! Blade and sorcery has been my go to. The violence is relaxing.

Yeah... Did some vr stuff a few days ago and it was blurry. Bit annoying. I ordered a Pico, I'm gonna go see how well it works first, if I can't get it to be clear I'll look into lenses. I thought it would be fine because the last time I used VR my eyes were way better (-1.5 dpt instead of -4.5 that it's now.) I think that was the reason in my memory it was clear. If I wear my old glasses nowadays they barely change anything.

I got bored of VR because i get tired standing for so long, kinda regretting getting it altogether, because setup takes so long: Valve and i get tired in hour.
Vs just playing pc game easily for 5-7+ hours
now i would like something like valheim on vr, i guess i wanna go with immersion because i enjoy that the most
p.s. Thrill of the fight is one of the best workout and fighting games ever for me thats the most worth it (yes even compared to regular titles like tekken imo)

    • @Synthetics7
