Thank you! It's the first time I use the computer to draw the body shape and I'm quite pleased with it. As papa Crowe would say "go make some saw dust!"
It can't do clear plexiglass. The laser just goes through. You need a higher wavelength one for that kind of stuff but those are also way more expensive. Coloured plexiglas works though but that's not what I wanted on this guitar
Well, the body is actually one piece (technically two). I just use the laser to cut pieces to use as templates to hollow it out in steps with my handrouter. But it's true that using a CNC this would have been waaaaay more easy
Scale that body design way up and you could use it to make a costume in ground swimming pool. Looks good.
Hahaha. I'd bathe in that😁
This is amazing and you are the best sort of crazy
I like that compliment 😁
@@caponemakesstuff glad to hear it :D
The inside looks like a miniature amphitheater. That's cool. Oh and the kazoo. 😶
Couldn't stop the 'zoo even if I tried
In love with this build. Exactly the type of style im in to. Excuse me while I go draw up plans for an offset Les Paul style

Crazy kewl idea. I was waiting for binding on the island. :D
Thank you! But the island is supposed to be completely invisible under the bridge. Maybe in version 2.1
That makes sense.
@@BoneheadGuitars I was gonna embed LEDs in it but then I stopped myself. Might've gotten a little gimmicky
Come for the awesome body weight relief and stayed for the kazoo masterpiece 👌
Hahahah
Wow what a unique idea mate. Any finishes planned for the inside?
Thank you! Gonna be blue on the inside and natural on the outside
Does your laser cutter not work on plastic for some reason? Why didn't you use it to make the plexiglass cover?

@@caponemakesstuff well there you go, I'll keep an eye out for that if I ever buy one for myself.
If you want to do clear plexiglass you'll need a CO2 laser
Awesome video!!!
Just a question. If you use a CNC Machine, could you make the body in one piece?
