I am not a good cook, but I just cooked this. Didn't have polenta so used rice to accompany. I am posting this after a first taste. First reaction? "Somebody made this!" It is so efin' delicious, I could hardly believe that it was me. Thank you Ms Hartnettt for such a winner. Next time, polenta: Promise.
If I had to give up all pots and pans and could choose only one to keep, I'd choose my dutch oven. There's nothing more versatile than a good heavy dutch oven.
Underrated chef, with a very relaxed natural way of teaching.
This looks fantastic

How did it go? It's a delicious recipe
One of the best kept cooking secrets is that chicken stock makes beef taste much beefier than beef stock.
Exactly! These idiots obviously haven't a clue about the history of it.... (and bet they'd be eating their words if they tasted it)
Or just no stock and heaps more veg, salt and herbs.
amazing
Let me say the path to enlightenment is knowing the plenty more to learn ...
What did you put top? That brown paper? I didnt caught the name in the video.
Ok. Im going to have a crack at this now.
Great recipe and great video! You are very sweet!! I've got one question! Why chicken stock and not beef stock?????
Beef stock tends to overpower stews and dishes, chicken stock gives a more well-rounded profile to the dish.
That apron can’t even handle Angela. What an amazing pair they are. The apron and Angela that is.

Exactly this is what I thought, its a little bit hard to think a busy chef like Gordon will have time to sit down and be on youtube...
Gordon Ramsey... And that's the actual him too...
She use to work for Gordon Ramsay
Below the Deck's Chef Leon brought me here.LOL
why use chicken stock? Why not beef?
Do you always use metal tongs on enamel cast iron? Professional? I don't think so.
Are you the real Gordon Ramsay?
Omg Gordon ramsay
Its a paste rather than a sauce like ketchup
No presentation of the final dish. Bad.

If you braise your tough meat in bicarbonate soda and water it makes your meat super tender and cook half the time ...

"You can use that instant polenta, there's nothing wrong with that"
Instant loss of respect. BLECH.
The fact she didn't mention the legend marco p white when talking about new kid on the block gordon. Disappointing
Looks nice but beef cheeks just have too much gelatin for me.
love her but touching raw beef then the salt & pepper grinders! eep
She loves to talk.
Emil ASLAN she never breathed between talking. Halfway through I shot myself.
tomato puree...
aha so that's what English people call Ketchup. ^-^
Chefs really are nutters. 15 hour days of abuse, for next to no money. So glad I'm out.
chicken stock phaha wtf use beef and why no masala either?
Her talking is annoying and overwhelming, I just couldn't watch the whole thing
To much talking, than do ! Bla, bla, bla !
Lady u talk too much...
I like the idea of this dish. But chicken stock in beef checks? I'd just add water or some chopped tinned tomato. Fuck the chicken stock.
