I’m glad to see you back on. I hope you’re doing well. I saw you enjoy doing so much with my dad. I was kind of a tomboy. But please note I am true female, but I didn’t like playing with dolls, but I love the outdoors and I love working with my hand with my dad. So I so enjoy that you enjoy being with your father the things that you both enjoy and the things he has taught you.

Glad to see you post again and happy to hear you're feeling a lot better. Recovery can be tough, still dealing with setbacks myself. But everything changes, I just have to stay patient.

I'm so happy uour back to normal and living life and a new job your traveling again so all looks good for you Emily and that's jsut wonderful news.
I have thought I wondered and worried about you every time I watched one of your daddy's videos, praying you were improving with your concussion symptoms, and yes, you are.
I'm excited to hear you're going to be posting videos again.I can't wait .That trip looks like it was a blast.

Photography is beautiful as always. I first went to Algonquin Park when I was 4 with my Dad. (1957) It's changed alot but it's reassuring that it's still such a special place. I took my family there while the girls were growing up and they still love the outdoors. So glad you're making progress from the concussion. Looking forward to the Europe series. Keep well Emily.

Found your channel because of your dad and his amazingness. It’s really great to see such a wonderful father/daughter relationship that you and your dad have. It was good to see that you are recovering so much of what you lost since the concussion. Brain injuries are a real bear. I have had to deal with my own issues which a recent MRI showed that damage from concussions were not visible and I can now look to other causes. But though there are no physical signs of the injury present in the scans, other things that have happened over a 35-year long career in the military will have left their own unique marks. So, I find some comfort seeing you recover as you are so young. I may not recover but I am also older then Shawn by about 4 years or so. I look forward to seeing your new adventures and even further recovery.

Emily, it's funny...I was thinking about you yesterday, wondering how you were. So glad to see you out and about and with a new job too! Are you still living in the cabin or is that only a weekend place for the time being?

Yay you're back! I really love watching your videos, I remember when you put your solar on your cabin I was just looking at those eg4 mini split for heat and air that runs totally off solar during the day, that would be a good addition!
Emily, I was glad to see you again! I wanted to thank you for your medical updates because I too had a concussion about the same time as what happened to you, same symptoms and social anxiety! Good to know it’s the norm! Love your outdoor videos! Stay healthy!

Change of lifestyle to recover is always good until you recover and have that one place that grounds you to look at your goals, and the desire for life again. Sometimes they change a bit. Me it happened 3 times. Loss of a wife and family that we had. I compare the 21 year old me to the now 52, with the same thing happening, base line I am the same, but with some different goals.
Nice video. I still do backcountry canoe trips with my 30 yr old daughter. No better way to spend time. Good for you and keep the tradition alive.

That trip with your dad was very nice .... hoping you guys are able to do it more often🤞🏻👍🏻 I spent 6years in the UK/Ger with a few short trips here and there. I'll be waiting for your next vid to see where you guys traveled to. There were no digital cameras back then, so Every photo was on slide film. Unfortunately I lost most of my slides during one of my moves. That one really stings .... but I'll always have my wonderful memories of people & places .... I just can't share them.
