Nah no vents, I think it might be warmer than I first thought. It’s pretty heavy, like a jacket but definitely more comfortable than the normal heavy all weather jacket I’ve been using with the big hump in the back. Nice to see you on the channel 👋 Cheers Sam
Hi, I still wear it but the zip has started to come apart from the shirt slightly which is a shame as there’s no real reason for it. I also have a texpeed leather jacket and that feels like a very well made jacket and a bargain for around £100.
@@thatwelshman4518 I see. They seem the same jacket with different labels on for totally different prices. The RST is exactly the same and same colours for twice the price
Happy Christmas, I invested in a couple of Oxford Kickback Kevlar lined armoured riding shirts about 2 years ago, I find I ride in them most of the time during summer. All you need is a simple unlined Goretex jacket to throw over the top if it rains. Got a used Berghaus one from Ebay for a tenner. I only use my Rukka Goretex 2 piece if I'm going on longer tours.
@@garethparker1829 My Oxford Kickback shirt is doing OK so far, nothing has broken or come undone. I only wear it in the warmer months. I have an Oxford Hardy wax jacket for colder months and that, too, is great.
@@thatwelshman4518 cheers , i`ve had a leather Jacket about 4-5 years from Texpeed and its still in good condition worn all through summer , so i expect the shirt should be fine thanks again
What PPE ratings are the protective inserts (armour) and the overall CEN/PPE protection for the shirt - A/AA/AAA - should be on the labelling in the jacket and information documentation.
Great review thanks fella looks great for the money, “mumps” 🥴🙈 I had it a few years ago when I was about 60 and I have to say it was the worst thing iv ever had felt like I was going to die 😱 Merry Christmas to you and yours. Thanks for a great channel this year looking forward to 2022. M
I bought one in the "John Wayne Blue"! Arrived today! Pretty solid bit of kit! It is a little more robust than I thought it would be....more of a jacket than a shirt, in my opinion! Went for the XL..... Any smaller and I would have difficulty in reaching the handlebars....however, I would have loved to have tried the large on to see how it would fit! Are there any stockists of this around (other than on-line)?
@@thatwelshman4518 It seems it is on-line only. Probably have to send it back, I am afraid! Fits me on the shoulders, but it is huge around the body....and I am not slim! I think the fluting at the back is not helping....would have been more snug without it
@@thatwelshman4518 Yeah it will. Stu Fillingham wears similar shirts, but his tends to be high end stuff I think. Been thinking of getting something like this for ages now, great to see your thoughts on the shirt you got. Hope you had a great Crimbo, look forward to your next vid. Mind how you go. Neil
Cheers - was swithering on the XL or XXL. This video has helped me out. Nice one 👍👍
Looks good 👍🏻 happy Christmas!
Nice! I've thought about getting and armored shirt or hoodie. Does this one have any vents at all? Maybe in the arm pits.

Great review bud just looking at them now on Biker wear direct hows it been long term over the summer ?
It’s been my go to on hot days, can’t really say I’ve wore it enough to test if it would last well long term but ok so far. 👍

Level 1 armour. Can’t find anything about a further protection rating though.

Not sure, I imagine some bike dealers would stock them 🤔
