My sons tell me they wished they had been young in the eighties before mobile phones and social media, I think many young people yearn for a simpler time , when people would go to the pub and actually talk to each other face to face and i do think they have a point . Young men are especially very vulnerable as its really hard for them to talk about their feelings
As someone once said to me…”life can be tough at times….but you’ll be tough all the times”……respect to you for talking so openly, you are a bright, articulate caring young man…..you have so much to give to the world…..ignore the negativity, embrace the positivity…..you have all our support….and yeah, it’s good to talk, to share…many of us do have our own gremlins….to share, to listen is to care…..
Keep strong buddy, you have a big heart of gold. There are more good people in this World than bad, I am a soldier of the light and the dark is on full display at the moment. However, we will win. Be patient with your channel. Rome wasn`t built in a day, keep grinding out content mate and it will grow. All the very best to you buddy.
You should be so proud of yourself with the amazing success you’ve had on here in such a short amount of time. The community which is building on here is brilliant, with lots of genuine people who are here to support you ❤ Keep going, you’re a fantastic guy! X
Sending all my love and respect mate. Takes balls to open up and its only going to have a positive impact on others openly discussing mental health, especially in our day and age. All the best mate and take care of yourself.
You speak and articulate yourself really well. Keep being open and sharing your story. Be careful with with social media game. TH-cam used to be a big part of my life a good 15 years ago. I'd often catch myself checking how many views, comments, new subscribers I got and it's all nonsense. The reason to make videos has to be purely for your own enjoyment. Once you start basing your sense of happiness or success on how many likes you're getting, you start playing a game you can't win. Keep going, I've enjoyed listening to what you have to say. Take care buddy
@Kie77 couldn't agree more mate, I'm new to it and I've definitely made my share of mistakes already which have been acknowledged etc. Always trying to improve. Thank you!
First off mate, you're doing a grand job.If everything starts to feel tough going take some time out for yourself to get your sh*t together, because the world will spin on regardless .Keep walking your cracking lurcher and have natter with us lot😁👍.
Life is hard mate as you grow older you learn that you have to fight on and on and on, don’t rely on any one else to help you, you have to do it yourself, I have realised after being an empath for years that you have to put yourself first and fight your own corner, at the end of the day the only person you can count on is you ❤ get out running if that’s what floats your boat, you know that you will feel better, sending strength & hope , 2 things you will always need
Hi mate the world is a hard place we never know what other people are going through behind closed doors I like your vlogs and for what you stand for keep up the good work and get back out with your dog here’s to better days 👍
Well done with video even though you not good. I suffered anxiety as child then when 18 started alcohol twenty years, made depression worse. Gave up booze depression went! Good to look at spiritual need. Talk to Jehovah's witnessed, this helped my life. Love your videos keep going.
@andyrichardson5097 mate your probably don't know this but I have a right obsession with middlesbrough. I read through months of material with lee duffy and all the places described would paint a picture in my mind, I've always wanted to come and visit the place!
@MountainToClimbPodcast I could show you the good and bad of the boro. I met Lee a few times when he was a bouncer. There was a saying in boro which was "you know when you meet lee duffy". I personally thought he was OK me and my mates but all we wanted to do was to rave and meet women 🤣
@andyrichardson5097 do you know mate I think you are just the man I need. Weird how things happen sometimes. Do you know when I coached for Wigan the only fans I used to go over to and have a good chat with was when middlesbrough came. They were always next level to talk to every time! I knew when I started looking in to middlesbrough in the 80s and 90s these people are one of a kind! Feel free to hit me on instagram mate same name if you haven't got it let me know 👍
Nobody should ever say “Snap out of it” because you’d have done that already. It takes more than one finger snap… I won’t say “Be strong” but rest to recharge. Work well & smart not hard. I’ve suffered severe mental illness/suicide attempts in the early 1990s. This was before social media, the internet & smartphones. TH-cam can swallow up your life so practice “the right to switch off” for when it becomes a right. Don’t search for meaning but perhaps enjoy the headspace to breathe since we are human beings not human doings or meanings. I hope these things help.
Scott, my mental health really dipped a few months back. I tried to kill myself, I'd had enough blah blah. I totally get where your coming from. I'm currently undergoing theraphy . my mam died of cancer, my dad died of a stroke, my brother also died of cancer.
@thedjs63 wow that's a lot to go through, please don't be hard on yourself or think that I wouldn't want to hear it. No judgement here my friend, please reach out in my instagram if you ever need a quick chat, my link is in my bio. Be kind on yourself at this moment in time 🙂❤️
Must say it's a bit disappointing that when I make an effort to "get back to you" after watching you say you struggle when people don't reply, you then ask me to come on, I agree and you don't get back to me. Pretty ironic you must admit?
The problem is that you had one video which really took off, but that doesn't suddenly make you a leading TH-camr and I think you are struggling since then. Also you had a tendency to delete comments on that video which you didn't agree with, including mine when I talked about a bad experience I had. So you need to have a reality check really, appreciate what you have in life, don't make woe is me videos because that will make you feel more negative, enjoy life and move on.
@richardmullens4707 I beg your pardon? You have completely got the wrong perception of all this, firstly i dont think im a leading youtuber whatsoever. I have no idea who you are. Deletijg comments is something I have never done. TH-cam does delete comments including my own at times so I'd be careful what your accusations are. I've just seen your comments that you have put on my channel for the first time by clicking on your profile. They're still there? I get so many comments daily that it's hard to get through them. But deleting comments I've never done.
@richardmullens4707 lastly, I only started this channel 2 months ago, so to say that I'm some sort of failure is quite shocking when it's been backed by good people in such a short space. Why don't you start a channel if you're so fantastic at it. 👍
@richardmullens4707 I've just seen the comment you are referring to it's still there hasn't been deleted. The one about your mum having cancer it's still there...
Your a nice man, keep going mate, life is a struggle, and it is never easy losing someone close to you, it has taken me a long time to get over losing my Mum and Dad and recently my best friend, my cocker spaniel. I wish you all the best and keep smiling pal.
Thanks
Wow Mark that's the first donation, you legend 👏 have a great day!
