I am an introvert too! Sometimes I suffered from this because my friends were extroverts and I thought that they were thinking that there was something wrong with me. Even now I feel like I’m not fitting well in this world which appreciates talkative people and extroverts.
I've wondered about more than a few outgoing, chatty types who always need to be in the company of others. It's almost as if they're afraid of their own company, have too many bad memories or can't do without the ego stroking others provide. There are books available on being an introvert in an extrovert world that could be of benefit. After all, reading is one of our favorite pastimes !
Hi! The title of this episode did really strike a chord within me. I have been struggling with my introversion my whole life, I guess. I just discussed this with my psychotherapist last Sunday. Still trying to sort it out. It's a work in progress. This week, I started rereading Susan Cain's "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking", hoping to find answers to my questions. Your videos do have a therapeutic effect on me. They help me to reconnect with my introverted nature and learn to cherish and truly enjoy it! Thank you! 🫶
I really appreciate your comment, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I haven't read Susan Cain's book, but I saw her TEDtalk, and that really hit home. Sorry to hear you've been struggling with your introversion your whole life. I wish there was more awareness in society. Until that happens, I guess we just have to learn to appreciate our quiet nature and create spaces where we are comfortable and don't feel pressured to be someone we're not. I have a memory from school when I was 7 years old. It was recess, and all the kids were playing noisily in the playground. I went for a walk all by myself, and when I was in a forest behind the school, I felt such peace and joy! And I remember singing this song I'd heard on the radio. Just all by myself. I'm sure if a teacher or classmates saw me, they would think I was crazy and needed help. LOL. But I was really having a good time! All our lives we're taught that spending time alone /being quiet and not loud and talkative is bad. That's just crazy! We're all different, right? Anyway, just rambling on. I'm glad my videos have a good effect on you. Take care!❤️

Snow / winter is a big part of me, having grown up in Norway. In the deep of winter, after a heavy snowfall, the city is completely transformed. Not just in terms of looks, but even the accoustics change. Sounds are muffled. I love this transformation. The snow and darkness also makes it extra nice to stay indoors, great for an introvert!
Like you, I am an introvert. The older I become the more introverted I become. This video could have been made by me, that’s how close it is to my feelings as an introvert. Love this! ❤️👍🏻

As an introvert myself for years, notice the loud folks have something to prove, myself working at the same place for 37 years and always kept strictly to my self. If I was asked something, people tend to listen closely, I had nothing to prove being loud about it. I am an introvert to the extreme. That said I have fallen for your sweet puppy. You are a very lucky person
Happy to connect with another introvert. Thanks for sharing your story from the workplace. It is nice to know there are others out there! From your profile picture, I can see that you are a cat lover, (I am too) so I am very honored that you appreciate little Mochi too.🐶 Love from Oslo ❤️
I am so glad that I found your channel...Mochi seems like such a wonderful and good friend...the choice of music for your videos is perfect as well...thank you so much...
I agree with your reflections. It seems to me that one of the differences between extroverts and introverts, is that extroverts tend to seek and feed off energy from outside of thenselves, whilst introverts tendcto be drawn inwards for their source and renewal of energy. However I dont think that most people are simply just one or the other. Most people lie somewhere on the spectrum between the two pure states..😊
I love your videos- on replay! Could you let me know the music that starts about 3’25? I’ve heard it before, it’s so beautiful. Ciao Principessa Mochi 🌷
Happy to hear you enjoy my videos! The music is called "Ack Värmeland, du sköna", it's an old Swedish folk tune. Many people have covered it, so there are plenty of versions out there, you may have heard one of them 😄
I'm very extroverted, but my 15-year-old granddaughter is extremely shy..she's bright intelligent but nobody notice cause she never talks..just family and teachers are aware of her personality. If you can please give me some advice to help her. In 15 years she made just 2 friends.
I'm no expert, but perhaps your granddaughter is happy just the way she is. Maybe she doesn't want or need more than two good friends? Personally, I'm happy with a handfull of close friends. And even though my life may seem boring or unfulfilled from the outside, I'm very happy on the inside. That could be the case with your granddaughter as well. The safest bet is to ask her in a friendly way ❤️
Sorry from my last comment forgot to mention I'm a woman in her mid 40's not 44's. Please don't mind that part. Lol. A reminder to check my spelling next time whenever I send you another comment soon.
I believe you are just a bit introverted..after all you were able to meet Mr. J..tell us how it happened.. you gad to get over your shyness? Love worth everything. Haha
I can see that. But maybe it’s nice to be challenged once in a while by your partner? Since we both are introverts, we love staying in, but sometimes I kind of wish Mr J would say Hey, let’s go out today! 😀

Very kind words, thank you. Have a nice day! 💖
Watching your vlogs and reading your ideas, like a journey in my life. Thank you so much... ❤
That’s wonderful❤️
I am also an introvert. My husband of 48 years was also. I love being alone. Its the way we are. Too much people is exhausting!
I know exactly what you mean ❤️
Gracias!🥹
I know what you mean… I guess balance is what we need. We used to do too many activities but now we’re slowing down a little. We love to travel👍
I'm married but spend a lot of time alone. I love it! Great videos! I visited Oslo in 1919 with my daughter. It was a dream that came true.
You sound like a kindred spirit. 😄 Hope Oslo treated you well! ❤️
Time travel would be a dream come true for me as well.
@@ajt0319👍😀
Love your videos. I keep rewatching them over and over.
😍
What a great compliment, so glad you enjoy my videos. ❤️❤️❤️
I agree- I think most people lie somewhere in between the two pure states as you say 😄
❤
Sto guardando tutti i vostri video..li adoro 👍. Buona giornata ❤
Your comment made me smile. Happy to hear you enjoy my videos! Love from Oslo ❤️
I'm introvert too. I love my solitude 😊
Solitude can be gold 😃
I love your videos- on replay! Could you let me know the music that starts about 3’25? I’ve heard it before, it’s so beautiful.
Ciao Principessa Mochi 🌷
Happy to hear you enjoy my videos!
The music is called "Ack Värmeland, du sköna", it's an old Swedish folk tune. Many people have covered it, so there are plenty of versions out there, you may have heard one of them 😄
Lovely video greetings Mochi.
Mochi says hello ❤️
How beautiful ❤
😌
What breed is your dog? So cute 😀
Parson Russell terrier. The same as Jack Russell, but with longer legs🐶✨
Thanks!
Also an introvert.. too many people takes away my energy.. also don’t like a lot of chatter.. 💕
Silence is seriously underrated ✨
Your friend Mochi makes me smile too
Mochi spreads a lot of joy! ❤️
I bet she and my Zoubi Grace would like each other
Cute name!❤️

Mochi (and dogs in general) can teach us so much! Love from Oslo 🐶💫❤️

yeah, now you are sharing your inner word to the entire world, how do you feel now?
I feel really wonderful! Thank you so much for asking. You are very kind and caring ❤️
I believe you are just a bit introverted..after all you were able to meet Mr. J..tell us how it happened.. you gad to get over your shyness? Love worth everything. Haha
We are actually both introverts haha. We don't mind meeting other people, it's mostly just bigger groups of people that are intimidating to us. 😄
I'm an introvert but Jeff is not, that makes things a little challenging sometimes...😀
I can see that. But maybe it’s nice to be challenged once in a while by your partner?
Since we both are introverts, we love staying in, but sometimes I kind of wish Mr J would say Hey, let’s go out today! 😀
Introverts or extroverts-I think it's not that simple 🤔Please do the Myers-Briggs Personality Test 🤗
Is Mr J and introvert as well?
Yes, he is also an introvert 😋
Hi, Just a thought, but you may also be an HSP. Lots of introverts are HSPs. Highly Sensitive Person. Because of how you describe yourself in this video.
Could very well be! Never thought about it.
Hi😊mochi❤
Hello! 🐶💖✨
Try being an introvert in Spain. 😓
I can imagine that's more difficult than in Norway....
