using optic rules its possible to calculate far distant distances too by checking movement of lasers dot on screen, but that partially depends on focus of used camera and used lasers degree of direction. anyway still try and learn technique probably will work. ;p
Hi, I should measure the height of water in a well that is 50 meters deep. Could you kindly point me to a laser or ultrasonic sensor capable of such a measurement? Thank you.
can you please exlplain what is the IC1 thinkie you always have in the left of your boards, right below the voltage jack ? And if you have the exact model /purchage link it whould be extra helpfull . Thank you immersely for all these amazing videos !!!
Hello, I need help. I wanna try create this project. And now I have problem with code for Arduino IDE. Exactly problem with "SimpleTimer" library. Code doesn't work(
what is the operating range in (centimeters or metres)? My use case is to measure the water level in the well. The water level in the well is at the distance of 100 metres from the ground level. is it possible to measure the water level?
100 meters it's too much. What you can do is install this sensor near the water surface and then from there you can transmit data via rf modules like LoRa.
video request. can you join a tof to a 433mhz transmitter/ reciever. so i have a lazer trip wire allarm for a door or gatè way... if distance decreeses. transmit signal to reciever that makes a noise.
Officially I think it's not compatible with water, but I tried and it works fairly well. Of course only if the water is quiet, it won't work if the water moves around as water behaves like a mirror and a distorted mirror doesn't reflect properly
I have the same thing, and no, the noise of each measurement is ~3-4mm. You can improve that by taking the average of many measurements, but in my experience with 150 measurements you get ~0.5mm, and that only every 5 seconds, as the sensor can give you a maximum of 30 measurements per seconds
@@m.sierra5258 Thanks for providing accurate statistics Unfortunately that's not enough I was looking for a laser detector with 0.01mm precision But I am not searching now anymore Because i lost the job offer
Question: How fast can the sensor update reading? Also will a nano be able to read tof at around 60hz per second and log data for 10hrs?

Question : is there a way, can we measure 1/100 of a millimeter?
Did you use ultrasonic sensor in crack measuring?
Thank you for the effort in making this video, sir. Great project sir!

hi, i have same problem with you. now, i want to use LiDAR sensor. how about you ? have you solve your problem ?
hi, unfortunately not yet
Can I use to make safe distance project
Hi nice video
What is the field of view for this sensor?
can the sensor go in the water? I mean is this waterproof ?
on backside components are exposed.
Great video, only thing I would say is there is not enough clearance on that relay board for high voltage shown.
i have a complete video on relays and how to make relay drivers.
Cost of total project
Is it possible to get the Two PCBs that you designed for the TF10120 laser sensor project? Thanks .

Does it work in front of sunlight?
works outdoors, but i didnt check this directly under sunlight or directly facing the sun.
Great video, do you know the laser safety class of the module? Thanks!
How much maximum distance it can detect?

How to find water depth using this sensor?
Can i replace oled & need a graph in pc
Very good
Every amature on TH-cam like you is designing pcbs unnecessarily just to shout out to their sponsors! 😂
What are the main objects used in this model?
how accurate can this measure? i need microns
Can I use it for angle measures like ultrasonic
you can use it for the distance measurement and for the angle measurement you can use a compass.
Hello sir ..can we use it for measurement of spring mass deflection when mass is added to spring
You definitely cannot
How fast it this sensor read distances?
hi i got problem on timer.setInterval(500L, display_measurement); in the coding. can you explain it thanks
your website not available now
now online. sorry we had some issues. website is online now
Very nice work!
Thanks a lot!
