I adore Cas' whole speech about rediscovering faith through fatherhood. As someone who grew up without a father it makes me feel some type of way. Cas has always been my favorite fictional character & a lot of people disliked him becoming more human as the seasons went on but I love seeing this side of him because it feels like such a natural progression to the character.
Another retcon that bothers me Dean leading into a new never happened moment with Amara. All she said was "Dean, you gave me what I needed most. I want to do the same for you." She did not say "You said that you wanted to show me something, that you wanted to, uh to teach me something" It's a stupid retcon, because it could have been asked in that present moment. Never needed to change the season 11 dialogue to asked/say it. "Why?" And then Amaras answer I Love love love Cas and Jack moments together. Castiel's dialogue about being lost, and finding a family and becoming a father always makes me teary.
I love Cas' little speech about rediscovering faith. A lot of faith seems to boil down to having direction, meaning and hope, and children can certainly give that for many people. I'm happily child free, but I'm watching my friend's little girl grow up, and watching my friend grow as a person through being a parent. I'm even trying myself to be better when I'm with them, because I want to be someone this little new human can trust and look to for how to be a human. That's the strangest feeling when you're a person struggling, but it's a powerful motivator and source of perspective.
I've been denied for less than this lady in a Shelter. they legit said i was too young. i was 21 and homeless hadn't eaten in 4 days. it was some bullshit. and yes i did get in a fight with the person who denied me.
actor re-use alert from WAY back to changing channels..remember Dr Sexy? Say hello to the Pastor. Pastor Joe Sexy.. hehehe Every time we see Amara this season, i find it very refreshing that she's not still dragging that black polyester 70s prom dress behind her anymore. I really like this pink suit she's got in this one.
No they didn’t, it was the number of episodes he was contracted for in the final season that affected Cas’s screen time. The only episodes that had filming impacted by the shutdowns were 19 and 20. Principal photography for 18 wrapped just before the shutdown. We know this because both Misha and Rich Speight (who directed that episode) have both said they had their official series wrap moments before leaving Vancouver (both at the time and in the years since), but were obviously expecting to get to come back for full series wrap celebrations until covid messed that up. The only effect covid had on some of these middle episodes was solely in post-production and possible reshoots-which SPN did not do often.
Wow they really didn't know what to do with Sam this episode, he felt forced in the whole Amara thing. First off it made no sense that it was Sam who was hesitant about tricking Amara to her death given their lack of history, Dean would've made more sense but the writers had to have Sam do something. Honestly it would've made more sense for Dean to go alone, Sam didn't contribute that much and like I said Dean's the one with the history and was the one to convince her. The excuse Dean might need backup doesn't fit either given how powerful Amara is having Sam around wouldn't have changed anything
I loved Cas & Jack working a case together and the case itself was interesting. Unfortunately this makes me wish we had more Jack on cases with and brothers and/or Castiel or with each individually. That's why I kept complaining about Jack getting his soul back, if he had just gotten it back when he was resurrected we wouldn't have had to drag it out and maybe have Jack spend some quality time with each of his three "dads". This is technically his second case with Cas and he had one with Dean last season but hasn't done much with Sam. And like I said before I would've like some extra time with the four of them together even if it was filler MOTW
Question: will you be reacting to the second Hillywood Show parody of Supernatural? I really hope you will - it's an excellent way to say goodbye to most of the key characters.
I wish the Dean and Amara relationsh0 tip had been explored more. Not anything sexual or romantic, but it was made out (by her) to be such a profound bond in Season 11.
Glad Cas at least finally learned his lesson and just told Dean the truth instead of keeping it a secret. But I gotta say I'm still not a fan that the writers never made the brothers consider Amara an option to beat Chuck rather than an obstacle that needs to die.
JerBear cut a scene that puzzled me. Where Jack says he has to die because that's the only way Sam & Dean will forgive him for killing Mary. And I can't help but thinking when was Sam ever hostile towards Jack about Mary? Yeah he tricked him to getting into the box but Jack knows that was Dean's idea, plus afterwards Sam hasn't seem mad or hostile about Mary at all (which makes sense given their relationship) And despite his earlier feelings its clear as day from last episode that Dean loves Jack and would die for him and is forgiving him. Now yes I can see when Jack came back from the dead he would think he needed to die to earn Dean's forgiveness but I still don't see how Sam factors in?

Doctor Sexy M.D is one of my favourite cameos ))))

The moment when Dean says "You're damn right!" & Amara stares back at him in such - I don't know horror or disbelief- just gives me goosebumps.
The teddy bear was just like a Teddy Ruxpin, the girl used a voice changer and it was just to lure the guy into the alley.
It took me FOREVER to realize that's Dr Sexy MD.... 😂😂😂😂

The restrictions did stop cas from being in it a lot, as he was in Canada and it was hard as he had to isolate for a long time every time

I love the baby Yoda reference. Especially since Amara is in the Mandalorian

atp i’m just waiting for the show to be over so you can watch the bloopers 😂
A week from now Supernatural reactions from JerBear will end
So sad
we'll still have the blooper reels.. I can't imagine he'll do them all at once since there are so many of them.. maybe 5 at a time...
I started the grieving process at least a month ago. It's sad, but I don't know what I'll find to do every day (well, five days per week, anyway).
i really love your supernatural reactions and commentary. i'm sorry we're almost over!

I’ve waiting so long for” the legacies” when are u gonna watch it 😭😭

Directed by Matt Cohen (young John) :)
