I'm sorry but Jodie Comer's performance looks to be awful. I know that's how the person sounded like but it wasn't a good idea to replicate that accent.
yet all the reviews say she steals the show and is "the heart of the movie". So I guess she did alright. I just think it's one of those things where there's a person who annoys tf of everyone just by the way they talk. And Kathy in real life absolutely seemed to be like that. And to replicate that and bring it on the screen is so risky but brave af, isn't it? The trailer prob doesn't do it justice either. There's def gonna be a good % of viewers who's gonna hate the accent. And maybe that's a good thing actually. I can't wait to see the whole thing.

It's a better choice for her to sound like the person she is portraying than to sound like a random person from Chicago.
