A metronome is key in this style! I do try to keep the "click" on each bass note, but in this case that might be a bit frantic as you would have to put the metronome around 200 - 240 bpm. So go for 100 - 120 and play two bass notes per click!
I know that Chet atkins worked with my favorite singer Roy Orbison on numerous occasions, so i would like to ask you to do a handful of roy orbison songs, because a number of those songs can be done on piano, but i would love to hear your version on acoustic guitar. Ah, that might be a mixing issue. Because I'm using two mics some phasing happens and certain frequencies jump out all of a sudden. I'll keep an eye on it for the next few songs...
