the Ibanez Iron Label Rg's are fantastic. I've got an RGIX model in blue, same as these just with a fancy quilt maple top and the fretboard is Ebony. try one out. I play SRV on mine no problem, and EMG's are not only metal. the 60 is more classic rock with bite.
I have the 7-string version. They're nice guitars. I replaced the nearly useless toggle kill-switch with a LED push button momentary one from Iron Age.
Got an S with the Gibraltar hard tail bridge featured there. Feels a lot like a modern strat with a blocked trem, great tuning stability and smooth under the palm. Nitro wizard neck on the iron labels is less extreme than original wizard necks and the super wizard. As long as you like the pickups they are great gigging guitars. Not so expensive that you fear wrecking them, but the fret work, hardware and pickups are all above the quality you'd expect for the price. They perhaps don't have the attention to detail of a japanese Ibanez or american competitors to Japanese made ibanez, but that's the point, these are affordable. Get two.
I have the 8 string version and can attest that they are killer axes. Would like to replace the kill switch someday with something I'll actually use, but that's really my only gripe with it.
If the current situation of my country wasn't that of counting coins and university riots, and the price wasn't a triple price due to shipping plus taxes (over price and shipping), that would be one of my choices for the Black Friday. I am also out of time these days, so I have to choose a few videos to watch. I cannot watch them all. Then this was one of the chosen videos. (A friend of mine, my cousin, has an Ibanez, then I found it interesting to check... And I also though it would be fun to see Pete playing an Ibanez - it could be a Jackson guitar, I would find interesting too) So... instead of quality breakfast coffee, this was my quality lullaby video. Our government wants to freeze public university financial resources for 20 years. I believe some of them don't know that that's exactly what some politics want. Chaos. Far enough from them.

frantisek veselovskyJR it's a harmonic-lightly touch the string at certain places and a harmonic note rings out which sounds bell-like at low gain or acoustic and seriously gnarly with gain/distortion. Pete starts at the first fret and slides up to the 3rd and then 5th fret then grabs the whammy to bend up the pitch before hitting another harmonic on the 12th. Google or research guitar harmonics for more info. Advanced players like Billy Gibbons and jazz great Joe Pass take the concept to higher level by plucking harmonics off fretted notes which is known as "artificial harmonics" Hope that helps-keep on playin'
the killswitch is pretty useless cos it's not momentary and to me the EMGs are really fizzy. i'd whack a warpig in there and change the switch to a coil tap
