As someone who only opens cases every so often, I’ve had the game for somewhere around 8 years and I just opened my first time a few hours ago. I haven’t always played consistently though and have taken plenty of breaks from the game. Incase anyones wondering I opened a field tested stained nomad knife, worth about $345 usd atm.
yeah its super useful even if your not opening cases, takes a bit more time and effot but totally worth it cause you can get 10-15% more steam balance for the same money
Currently 572 cases dry since I started playing csgo years ago. Have not opened any gloves or knives. Have opened maybe 5 or a couple more reds. I’m in for the long haul because I’ve decided I want to open one gold in my lifetime. If you want to unbox a glove or knife you have to be willing and ready to open at least 400 cases, as the drop rate is 1/400. That’s more than $1,000 with cost of case and keys. And that’s not guaranteed.
Ok im back.....i guess maybe we are all having this problem, im not at the computer but if you are i would temporarily turn on network ui and see if it corresponds to the lag

What’s the logic with not adding money to Steam? If I buy a skin on a trade site for eg 10 eur I’ll only be able to sell it on a marketplace for 9 minus commission
I just checked with several ak and deagle skins - buy price on skins monkey is higher than sell price on steam market, so I’ll be just losing money this way These trade sites already have their bid-ask spread, so by buying there and selling on steam I essentially take the least feasible option If I could buy a skin somewhere else and sell it on steam for a guaranteed profit that would create an arbitrage and everyone would just do that for a risk free profit
Opened around 400 cases, best skins was a 15€ Red in Well Worn…since years im buying skins directly through 3d party sites to loose less money :D still spend over 10k on skins xD
@SinisterCS I'm curious as to why you would spend so much money in skins? Where do you get so much money then. Your parents? Also how could you don't invest your money instead.
@@0Tony1 love the game and skins, plus its a good investment if you do it right :) i used a lot of my savings my parents made for me since i was born. But if i wait a few more years, i will make good profit from just my play skins and case investments

@@TechsavvyScientistI watched the rest of your video and I think you did a good job of explaining what I thought you could improve on. I thought that video was going to go a different direction after I heard your tone when you said $50 for a glove. The way you said it made it seem like 50$ was a good thing. I would just say work on your delivery with conveying value. I do like a lot talking about how many cheap blues and purples people get. I also like how you went with $1000 dollars for your estimate for a knife. I'd say more emphasis with examples and screenshots of what 20 cases normally looks like. my broke ass will stick to 5 dollar trade ups and opening sticker capsules
Profitable trade ups good, capsules and cases not so much!

as a new player, i'm very glad I watched this
im sure you got the memo but dont open cases HAHA
@@TechsavvyScientist what is the best way to sell the weekly cases I get so I can keep the money instead of having it in my steam wallet?

i woud say not even those

i opened about $175 worth of cases and opened a field tested stained flip knife, $225 value. gonna save it, shoutsout to Oprah
