Honestly this was the most knowledgeable and interesting video for starting trade ups but before this method gotta need some balance in my ID tho but nice video
what enables this?!? is it the low average float of the first weapon? and what breaks it? like how does this come to happen? since i tried it on all other currently dropped cases and it does not work
the catch is that this only works with like 2 collections since you need the weapons to increase in average grade to every tier. and once someone does this it doesnt work anymore.. buying 1.8 float weapons is 3x the cost at this point, legit change my mind by showing this work on any of the current cases aka. revolution, dreams&nightmare or fracture.. also recoil, like this what you showed doesnt work anymore since the floats are just not that low on the market.. buying and selling the skins gives you 1 usable float every 20 skins, so you loose like 5% of all the trades or even more
@Baddo692 buy orders (if you set the correctly) get you skins overtime. They buy everything thats listed under the price you set. So just because theres no good floats listed currently does not make buy orders uselss👍
Trade up chains are definitely a good way to get profit, but there are a couple big cons to them in my opinion. 1: they require a large balance to do, as you'll be losing more money in the short term due to not selling some of the output skins, and 2: they're very committal, it can take a long time to get all of the inputs, and it takes a lot longer to get a return. You have to follow the chain all the way through to make profits. While chaining trade ups can be convenient for floats, and offer a big payout at the end, I personally wouldn't favor them over more convenient, low commitment trade ups. Great video though! Love the content man.
i completely agree, it is very hard to do but if you time it right (the release of a new case) then its definitely possible... also if you dont chain to the USP, and just go for the AK Ice coaled it makes it around 24 times easier haha
Hey bro i put 5$ balance on steam but as i Watch ur other videos also i have seen that u dont subtract the cost of buying skins for the trade up from balance and add the profit made from the trade up in balance. And again the cost of skinss for tradeup is not subtracted from the balance. Tell my how u calculate it im having trouble finding it.
@TechsavvyScientist No hate or anything bro i watch your videos but while doing the take profit method going from milspec to restricted tradeup the cost if the individual dual berettas and r8 will be 1.4 ( 2:01 )dollar each rather than 0.96( 5:28 )cents shown at the video which will reduce the profitability of the tradeup?taking input cost from 9.6$ to 14dollars i may be wrong but thats what i thought do let me know if i am wrong
The main idea is (I suppose I failed to elaborate on in the video) that you can set the prices of the 'keep skins' to anything you want, as long as you set that price both for when the keep skins are outcomes, and when they are inputs. (well in trade up spy it wouldnt quite be the same because of steam fees, you'd have to set the price of them in the first trade up outcomes to $1.40*1.15=$1.61, which is the price where you'd break even after steam tax. its simpler if we just ignore the steam tax). Another way to approach this is lets say you do the trade up and you get a keep outcome that you say is worth X. We would both agree that then your inventory value has gone down by the cost of the first trade up, then has gone up by X. Then when you chain it, you use up a skin worth X, so your inventory value goes down by X (plus the rest of the skins, but thats the same regardless of X). So overall your inventory value has first gone up by X then down by X. X-X=0 no matter what X is, therefore it doesnt matter what you set your prices to as long as you are consistent.
9:35 you dont get the skins for 0.425 cents, you are basically paying the price of the trade ups where you got a loss outcome from the trade ups where u got profit, so if we were to do 1 trade up, and got a loss, keeping the skin would make us a 1.4 dollar loss in the balace. So thats why i think you cant say the skin costs 0.425 cents. Btw i love the vids and watch most of them❤

Now now Mr. Tech, best be on the look out for Steam IRS. They're gonna be after u now.

is there any method to get the low floats i been triying to do tradeups but the floats are impossible to geth .help.
where do you buy the skins for the tradeups? steam doesn't have low enough floats
you would want to use buy orders
@@TechsavvyScientist well you cant really use buy orders on an item that isnt on the steam market
@Baddo692 buy orders (if you set the correctly) get you skins overtime. They buy everything thats listed under the price you set. So just because theres no good floats listed currently does not make buy orders uselss👍
@@TechsavvyScientist i meant it that you cant make profit on tradeups buying a bad float even using buy orders
how do you find the floats if steam is not sell the floats you wanrt ???
How do I know which skins to buy to do the trade ups? does any skin at 0.1947 work?

more to come, just need them topics :D
in the exchange you showed from usp printstream is it 100% profit?

Profit = outcome price - fees - input price
the profit values already contain every cost
@@TechsavvyScientist thnx man
Its not your average profit, its your expected value.
When you get your buyorder fulfilled but the float isn't what you want, do you resell it for a loss?
resell for the highest they sell at, usually you can break even, sometimes you lose a cent but you shouldnt lose more
you're awesome man, keep it up brother! ❤
Great demo!!
In every method that i saw to find low float on the skins. There is like 2 offers but i need so many of them so what i am doing wrong?
use buy orders and be patient
clever stuff man, i didn't know this before
wow you are putting a lot of effort to make those videos i hope you will be a big big youtuber in the future
thank you man, really appreciate the support. it makes me really happy that people appreciate the effort that goes into these
what if none of the buy orders hit a 0.19 wont you be losing money every time it isnt a 0.19?
then you got unlucky. If you set your buy orders correctly you'll either break even of lose $0.01 / bad float
what site are you using for looking at the stats?
tradeupspy, link in description
Man, did you use only steam market or another websites to get skins? ofc i understand about sponsor, but still
Everything i did here is based on the steam market
bro i respect the amount of work you had to put in to make this video❤
How can you buy the first skins at 0.1947 float?
buy orders
Thanks bro this video is really helpful
Glad it helped
nice vid but what do i do if i sell an skin but the skin doesnt gives profit
then you lost money, nothing you can do about it, just move on
Il try it@@TechsavvyScientist
if you use buy orders most of the skins you get are not good float for the tradeup
if you set them on the right skins, around half can be good floats
You'll need a lot of balance if you do want to do this tho, unless your the son of luck that gets only the profitable ones
yeah you need a good amount of balance
@@TechsavvyScientist How much $ for a good crack at it?
Im pretty new to Cs, so can anyone explain to me why he put some random skins in the trade up and not the, for example, 10 Destroyer Galli Ar
these "random ass skins" are skins from the same case so basicly they work the same the prices are just different
@@morten7781 ahh thank you so much

@@TechsavvyScientist thanks
But you still loose money selling all those skins with useless floats from the trade order in the first place.
if you buy oder at $0.13 and sell at $0.15 then no, but if buy order at $0.14 then yeah youll lose a cent per bad float
unreal..
