Just rewatched Magicians for the thrid time. Its so sad to see the end, I just want to go back to the beginning. Funny how that was how Q read his favorite book to. When a series is this good and the cast and characters work so well, its like a heartbreak to see them go. The more time that pass, the less likely it is that something unexpected will happen, but I hope for it.
I am late to the Show, but I just finished watching all of the seasons and they were great and Eliot was my most favorite character. Its great that Hale really enjoyed the role and is really supportive of his fans, I love this guy!
He's my favorite character. Him and margo are magic together. Elliott makes me want to be a gay boy even more than I ever wanted to be one, and I've always wanted to be one. The best thing about my adoration for Elliot is that it seems like Hale IS Elliot, and vice versa. He's so good.

If I watch the new season it's only for this man and the way he's played Elliot and probably Margot to I guess... Killing Q off was just such a bad idea that I can't see the show really getting me the same way as before idk
I thought the monster he played was such a good psychological representation of the results of neglect and shunning at early developmental stages. The narcissism and often not represented fragility. Great work.
Incidentally, I got off a flight after everyone else deplaned once in late 2007, because I had a bad cold and was zonked out on cold medicine. So they were cleaning the plane already when the stews finally got me to wake up by yelling at me (because they're not supposed to physically touch you anymore unless absolutely necessary). Anyway, as I stumbled out of the gate I was powering up my smartphone to check for messages so I wasn't looking ahead, and I plowed right into a man - who when our eyes met, I was stunned to discover that it was TED DANSON!!! Incredible, right? At the time he was playing Arthur Frobisher on Damages and I was SO tempted to yell "Frobisher!" But he had this rushed air about him like he was running late (which as a frequent traveler I know very well), and in an instant, his pleading expression was begging me not to acknowledge out loud who he was and make a scene, so I gave him an understanding look and we got out of each other's way. Now I just have the anecdote to remember it by. But I got it. Hey - I like snagging a good celeb selfie as much as the next guy. But only if they're into doing it, and my desire to do so doesn't supercede another human being's need to privacy and space, no matter who they are. Maybe he remembers the nice lady that didn't bust him at a busy airport so he could make it to his flight on time. 🙂
What’s the story behind the person from the audience that Hale brought up on stage for the panel? That was really cool and I feel like there is a good one behind it..
