The monstrosity that started around 44:00 happened while I was doing chores while watching Desert Bus. To keep tabs on it I had multiple devices open to the Twitch stream at different parts of the house so I could watch it while I migrated from room to room. Each stream was at a slightly different delay on each device. The thwomps were echoing from every direction in the house. I'm amazed I recovered from laughing after that.
This is a beautiful example of the organic-ness of each run, you never know going in what will become a meme or chat favorite but it's usually by some glorious happy accident like this. I loved the way Night Watch just integrated it and had fun with us. Wish I had known to send you a couple of my old TNG toys.

Same. My retina detached early in November, and the recovery from the reattachment surgery is 2 weeks during which you can't wear contacts, read, computer screen or social media or anything. That, plus my high prescription meant that I spent 2 weeks listening to random TV. I suppose I could've listened to DB, but I think the temptation to try and chat would've been too high. So i missed it all this year, unfortunately. This video was a lovely microcosm of what I missed.
