I thought Gen 5 was stupid at first and refused to buy the game. Yesterday when I ended the story for Pokemon White I realised how wrong I was. Best. Storyline. Ever.

Dude same I went through the same experience. Except I bought Black in order to transfer my Pokémon from older games all the way to the current games. I regret not giving it a try back when it was released.

I struggled to understand what this quote meant until I heard a different quote that essentially means the same thing:
"We can deal with evil done in the name of evil, but God help us with evil done in the name of good."
Those quotes fits so well with the phylosophy tought that Evil and Good no exist, they are just moral ideas created to organize a society. The fact is Evil and Good are just moral question that have variavle points of view, like justice...

For those who don’t know Team Plasma actually used stolen Pokémon and made them build the castle. It just adds so many more layers to team Plasma, and it is why they are my favorite
And when those were tired of such hard work ghetsis brought them to N telling lies those were tired trainers pokemon and N grew up thinking this way, but then met the player and other trainers with happy pokemon, and he was pretty disappointed and confused, only at the very end he understands what ghetsis actually did to him....

The story of BW isn't world-ending like Ruby or Diamond but...god, doesn't it ever make you feel important? Doesn't it make you feel like you could change the world?
Not really, apart from raising a castle from the ground, taking over the league and freezing Opelucid City, Team Plasma was only a larger threat than Team Rocket. No one really had the power to change the world given the legendary Pokémon's abilities.
@@7GamerMinutes Actually Ghetsis would have stolen the entire world's Pokemon, and the Pokemon world as we know it could have imploded under the tyranny of Ghetsis. Pokemon work alongside humans, not just Battle with them. TL;DR Ghetsis would have killed many people off by removing something as important as the Internet to the inhabitants of the Pokemon world.
@@thatonegaminglatias4345 Doubt it, at most it would spark some sort of Pokemon war. If it wasn't the BW/B2W2 protagonists, it would've been someone else.
@@7GamerMinutes How they meant to beat Ghetsis without Pokemon though. Ghetsis now has Reshiram/Zekrom and the people now have no Pokemon.
@@thatonegaminglatias4345 Someone out there has Mewtwo... Dialga/Palkia... a team of battle ready Pokémon. Owning Zekrom/Reshiram doesnt mean a thing. Also, most people wouldn't give up their teammates easily.

Pokemon black and white, as well as its sequels have seriously got to be the very best pokemon games I have ever played. Great story, music, pokemon, and the list goes on. I love it! Of all the music in pokemon, this is probably my favorite
I really like this music. It's a perfect fit for when a situation has taken a turn for the worst and the world is on the brink of destruction, the villain has won, and the hero is on the verge of defeat.

BW was absolutely an awesome couple of games.
My biggest issue with the fifth generation was the anime...
This is a funny thing: the 5th gen has the deepest and mature core games and, in the other hand, they have the worst and the childish anime season of all
The Pokemon anime as a whole is pretty meh/bad tbh. I'm sick of Ash and his poorly written over the place character. If the games and manga have different protagonists why the anime can't? It'll be way more interesting to see different personalities goals and characterizations as opposed to one never aging kid who always gets selective amnesia when a new season starts.

Sinto arrepios até hoje ouvindo essa música. Ela realmente passa a emoção de estarmos prestes a fazer parte de um duelo épico. N é o melhor "antagonista" da franquia. Pokemon Black é o melhor jogo da franquia. Os dias que eu passei jogando essa obra de arte foram um dos melhores da minha vida. Custava ter mais jogos desse hoje em dia?

Trust me, I’ve had... well, not exactly a crush since I’m Ace (a “squish”, then? Aka platonic crush) but an admiration for him, for years now. If I met him in real life, he’d definitely be an interesting person to talk to.
The fifth generation of pokemon for most of the public when it came out, it was considered trash for its pokedex and such "unique" designs of pokemon (ahem Trubbish, vanillite and Kling ahem) and for having such a different story from the previous ones or the change of design in the game, but pokemon BW 1 and 2 managed to have some simply majestic soundtracks in all expressions and that currently many of us listen to or remember with affection and that are even used by many people in their videos, and this generation is one of those that started bad but it aged very well, now being seen with different eyes by our generation and those that preceded us, a great story and concept, an innovation in graphics and mechanics, a great villain with a great team behind it like team Plasma, a pokedex with horrible designs but with good designs that when they are good, they are really good, a great legendary trio, and with a great soundtrack, this would be the last generation before the decline of the saga with some exceptions like Arceus, Sun and Moon or Sapphire and Ruby but this game was the good bye of a generation with the DS to enter in the new era of 3D and its sequels with the 3ds and switch.
i loved this game and its sequel.

I am so scared listening to this now.Why?Because I finished Black and White in a dark room while Ghetsis whooped my ass with his hydreigon.I gotta admit,the ending to black and white is godlike although they are not my favourite games.

my trump card for almost the whole elite four and the final battles was a mienshao i found when i was at draco castle and i trained him since he was a mienfoo

This was my favorite music in the game. No doubts about it. If you combine this song with Izaya Orihara's theme, you get my theme song XD.
Hyrule Castle looking different
The instruments used give you the feeling that this is the Bowser's Castle of the Pokemon series. That's the reason why everyone likes this theme.
More like's Ganon's Castle.
This sounds more like a theme I'd expect to hear in the actual Pokemon anime. Very impressive.

I mean, this is really, really late, but I had a Hydreigon of my own, literally the only reason I won that match, Hydreigon was level 67 because of some major grinding for it, the rest of my mons were equal level to his. Ghetsis wiped out every other mon tho, and apparently, Ghetsis can just ignore confusion....Swagger did not help me whatsoever.

now that you mention that.......there should be a feature to create your own pokeballs collecting and buying materials, not like in HG/SS of course, would be great seeing hundreds of different pokeballs when fighting other people, collecting some special materials in different versions of the game and a system to sell and buy the pokeballs to other players with some special points or money (in game) and make the owner get those points or money to get other special items

Remember, at the end, N realized that he'd been tricked by Ghetsis. And I doubt he'd approve of that, seeing as the entire reason he was trying to free Pokemon was because Ghetsis showed him abused and hurt Pokemon...

They did a great job on the overworld soundtracks, best I've heard since RBY and might just be better. So many great songs such as this and Relic Castle, among many others. I have to admit though, I found the E4 and Alder Champion music to be lacking in style, uniqueness, and likability. For BW2 Iris' Champion theme was awesome, but offset by the awful remix of Neo Team Plasma fights. These are my opinions, agree with them as you will.

I'm not offended at all. Regardless, the track being remixed for smash is a good indicator that it is very popular at the very least for Nintendo itself (Which overlooks other themes). Now for the setting and story, sure; it's a good part where you storm the Castle and get good info then get to the big battles. The track itself is pretty good, just read some of the comments on this video and you'll see it's not underrated. Underrated would be the track that plays on the bridge toward the castle. :/

I mean, if they only freed abused Pokemon, they wouldn't be that bad.
...Uh...the flaming donut thing is kinda gory...I'd just throw them in prison...
I just had a brainstorm. There may be a way to softlock yourself in N's castle. You could get rid of all of your money and items, and release all of your pokemon, except for a lvl 100 Mewtwo. and then enter the cutscene. Make sure that the Mewtwo has only offensive moves. Boom! You are now softlocked. Because your only option is attacking, you will always knock out the Legendary, and because bw baby's you. You will always have a second chance to catch the legend. Because of this, your Mewtwo will endlessly keep defeating the legendary. And because you got rid of your items, there is no way to catch the legendary to make progress.
And there are a Plasma Grunt that help you to exit the castle, come back to the league and buy anything you need. Nope, there are no way to softlock in the castle.
Remember, the Nimbasa Stadium has infinite rebatles.
