God gave me the Jesus Prayer to calm my nerves dusting evening meditation, and to crush the sense of impending doom I have upon rising! And by the grace of God and the written word of His Saints, I no longer pass out every night from heroin, pills, and whiskey! God rescued me from death by overdose, and I'm not sure how to thank Him!? It wasn't once but several times that I "died" but never gave up the ghost! Someone was praying hard for me, and I can only pay it forward. Thank God for life in 2021, where the inmates are running the asylum. It seems grim but it's not. Better days ahead, through the love of the Most Holy Theotokos and her son, Jesus.
We can love our neighbors as Jesus does we can Pray the divine mercy chaplet pray for the conversion of sinners fast and repent that’s how we can all thank god and God bless you your story is beautiful!

Our stories are very similar. Along side the Jesus prayer, the rosary was added to my disciple. Clean over 2 years now.
