Very nice effort, luv these classic kit builds. One suggestion: Use Tamiya NATO black for the wheels and gun barrels. It's a very dark grey and is perfect for recreating dusty rubber and gives a better scale black appearance.
Thanks for the kind words! :) Yeah.. I noticed that the rubber black doesn't fit well on some places, but I had no idea what is the alternitive. Will definetely try using that Tamiya NATO black to see how it goes, thanks for the tip!
Yeah, that's what I love about scale modelling, everyone bands together from all over the world and they help each other and enjoying looking at all the builds and progress!
I've built this same kit many years ago including the figures, funny thing is, i have an empty box for the afrika korps figures only, so I can only assume somewhere, I still have a set of those waiting to be built! my build would have been one of my very early uses of an airbrush, it was blasted with humbrol 74, then had random splotches of red and green fired all over it. seeing how nice yours has turned out, is making me wonder whether to dig mine out and re paint /weather it.
Thanks for the kind words! :) As for the kit, it is apsolutely lovely and easy to work with, so if you find those figures go for it and make a little diorama, it will look amazing!
Looking forward to watching this. It's the first Tamiya kit I made, around 1974.
@@heneagedundas Hope you enjoyed! :)
A gorgeous Pz. II, well done 👍
Thanks! :)
I've built it twice in my life. Great kit, great job on it. Maybe a 3rd one is my future.
Thanks a lot! :)
It sure is a fun little kit!

@@Koca.mp4 What a great time to be a modeler. It’s like we’re in one huge club and we get to see everyone’s work 😊
