I'm so happy Chengdu is being discovered by skaters. I used to teach English there in 2003 and loved it! None of these spots were built yet. I used to skate almost every night in Tianfu Square, at the center of the city.

When Primitive started I thought it was just another company, but their team (skaters, editors, filmers, marketing) is so cohesive and top class. Love all this.
Yea when p-rod started primitive skateboards i honestly didnt think it was gone end up as big as it did and end up with a team full of heavy hitters ......i was not expecting that at all ....p-rod really did the damn thing with this skateboard company!!!!

I did an internship in chengdu. The city is just one big skate park. The best part was the local skaters, they were the nicest and coolest persons I've met. Shout out to pogo skateshop in tianfu Square.

That was great to watch. amazing skating, unreal spots. the locals seem so nice and really into it too. and/but, to be fair... Chengdu, be prepared for an onslaught of skaters coming through now ;0

Take a camera to the park find you a shredder and offer to film. Tjese days people just take clips on there phone for Instagram but im sure theres tons of shredders that have no one to film.
