All of us come into this world with nothing, and yet, we know everything. We leave this world with nothing that we have collected, having forgotten that we already had it all from the beginning 🙏

@Saa Justin why do you wanna know God's beginning? Will the truth help you with your current life? Once we pass this earth, and go back to our creator we will know the truth. The human mind is not equipped to store all the memories and knowledge of the universe. All that we need to know is who we really are, the I am, part of the All

      Ignore the big picture.
      Let the world burn.
      Feel better about yourself.
      Breathe.
      Just, breathe.
Nothing is going to be alright.
      This isn't about them.
      It's about you.

      @@wolfmage1922Who fucking cares?
The best person in the world won't stop humanity from destroying ourselves.
You are focused on the wrong problem, and you call that "enlightenment".
      Breathe.
      Just breathe.
      Breathing is involuntary.
      It is automatic.
I would understand if you read this and came to the conclusion that I have missed the point.
But I get it. I understand.
      It doesn't matter.
You have no idea the terror that waits for us all in the very near future.
When it comes we'll call it a force of nature... We'll pretend nothing could have been done.
But with an ounce of foresight, this tragedy could be averted.
      It won't be.

At 31, his words still soothing and still helping me through my suffering. A lifetime of suffering is bearable derives from his teachings (I’ve since added lessons from Dostoevsky, Kierkegaard, Nitzche, and Bible in the last 17 years). I might even say these lessons make the suffering meaningful.

He simply stated what is, has always been , it's a matter of discovering it within ourselves, that's upto us to what lengths we are prepared to go to do that, it's not an easy path but it's a beautiful and peaceful one, as I've discovered 'aham brahmasi'- I am the universe! It's the eternal truth which our culture teaches us everyday. We & everything around us is impermanent, once you accept this truth everything becomes simplified and clear but to truly accept this is tough. As the Gita says- it's not that I do not own anything, it's that nothing owns me, once we understand this we are everything and at the same time nothing

We've been always controlled by some kind of force. That's natural. Freedom and protection come from within and are available to anyone who finds their way for that path no matter in what part of the history we come about. That's why we were inserted in this temporary part of our existence. Everything is possible, not everything is probable.

As a musician/songwriter, I interpret "it" as the note you reach as the chords and such finally resolve in a song. I'm sure some of you know what I mean. Don't keep trying to reach "it" or the whole song will be this potential energy not fully realized. Breathe a bit, let more rhythms fill in then sing like the DOVES. Or maybe im high as shit, or both!

Watts was an alcoholic. But that doesn't mean he was any less of a philosopher - in fact I admire people like him and say, Hunter S Thompson who can function so damn well off of multiple influences. I know for sure I don't have that ability

“….purely passive contemplation of a TWITTERING screen…” [caps mine] Watts was so purely prescient.

Yes there is negativity in television and the way it's used, but also on the path to becoming creators in our world. It probably started with radio waves or electronic signals, and thus far has gone into computers and AI.
