It's so magnificently ornate! You've made math and geometry a thing of beauty. I'm starting the right now. It just feels so..... what's the word? Intricate, delicate 🥹
I totally enjoyed creating this beautiful doily. Your tutorial was very helpful in my accomplishment. I wish there was a way to share the picture of my doily. ❤
I botched the 1st one I tried to make following the written pattern. I think in R10 after the pattern repeats, on the last set with only half pattern, written instruction of pattern should add: • Last half pattern: ch5, sc in space between the horizontal ch3+dc, 5ch and sl st in 3rd beg ch. I made my 2nd try and it came together perfectly. Love it and will be looking where I can find thread#10 coz we only have mercerized cotton thread #8 :( So excited to see the outcome after blocking. Thank you so much, Raine! Fabulously beautiful designs! Thumbs UP!!!
I love it! Well done! I was thinking I would make a dollie today and this popped up! It's a sign, this is the one I'll me making today! Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent with us.
Hi Vaidegi, I usually make the doily wet, stretch it out on blocking mats and attach it with pins. I also spray some starch to give it extra firm shape. Then let it dry completely before removing the pins. I hope this helps!
Now how beautiful is this. Simply stunning. Thank you for sharing and the tutorial.
