I really wish I grew up in a city so big and beautiful especially around Christmas time has always been my goal especially considering that the only time I did go was when I was younger and I couldn't experience it or remember to much being i was very young vs me looking at as a adult

I am so impressed by the monument of September 11th. At the time, I was sitting in the office with quiet radio music. At 2:45 p.m. in Germany, the message came: America was attacked. New York was attacked. Then we all just sat in front of the TV and watched CNN. I was in shock. My great world was destroyed. With the attack of September 11, happiness and prosperity were over. The lightness of being was destroyed.

In China - Beijing, the Chinese go to the park and paint the park paths only with water. It is reassuring to do this and reassuring to watch you do it. Maybe that's something for New Yorkers, too. They have big brushes for it.

Don't know about Christmas on the Hudson, but the city is absolutely magical during Christmas. Lights everywhere! Stick around for new year's in times Square. Most likely not a white Christmas. I'm born in nyc and white Christmas is rare, but it could happen. My father immigrated from Italy in 1960, and when he got here in December, it was one of the worst storms ever. Two weeks with pneumonia! January is the real snowstorms.Sometimes two feet. I hate shoveling when I have to go to work. 🤭
