So, on the original screen there are 3 small brown flexible PCB's approx 1.5mmx10mm - each with one spring pin connector and two tiny resistors. On your old screen one is at the lower left edge (with screen facing downwards on table) and can be seen at 13:26. The spring pin contacts a specially milled section of the metal frame when screen and frame are screwed together. Why don't you fit them to the new screen and what do they do? (By the way, my EU handset has 3 of these around the edge of the LCD's metal frame - one in each of 3 indents. (Two on the RH edge and one at lower left edge). They must be required for something.

Why would my screen not light up but the led indicator on the front light up when I charge or hit the power button. Btw if u have a air fryer the exhaust is the best it took 30 seconds of heat and a flexible gillete razor with a pick. Not 1 crack and my damn screen won't come on I paid $117 4 it's not an oem part but I sure as hell imagined it would work I went through hell trying to figure out how to get the back of my phone off without breaking it so I came with the ingenious idea to use my 360 degree air fryer and hold it behind the exhaust fan Honestly though that super thin flexible razor was something I've never seen anyone use and it work well you don't even need to heat it up it's that good but I don't recommend that the glue is like weird adhesive it's like that's sticky tack from school back in the day
Do not stick your phone in a air fryer I held it behind the air fryer
once you done this did the finger print scanner work with the button that came with the screen as i know apple do not allow the finger prints to wokr after screen change of with secondary home buttons

how much for the lcd if i order it...plus shipment to the philippines?
lcd is about $200-230 dollars
if I don't have cards to separate I cut some squers of a 2 litter containers or milk cartons or the cardboard out of a 12 back of COCA-COLA and boom there it is lol
