I am here in Jodhpur - (The Blue City of India). In this video, I am going to show you “The Taj Mahal of Marwar” Who is famous by the name of Jaswant Thada. Jaswant Thada is located near Jodhpur Fort. So if you are coming to Jodhpur then definitely visit here. Jaswant Thada, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II of Jodhpur. This monument was completed in 1899. The last rites of kings and members of the Royal Family were performed at this place. This monument has many beautiful jaalis (carved-marble lattice screens). It has pictures of Rathore rulers of the 13th century. The main hall is built like a temple where worship is also done. The gardens surrounding the monument are good for relaxing. From here one can have a spectacular view of the blue city and Mehrangarh Fort.
