I just acquired a baby bearded dragon and I went and bought the 40 gallon tank and I was wondering what that tile would look like busted up now I know what the next step in the process is going to be. Thank you for such an informational video 👍
Did you use underlayment paper so it won’t stick to the bottom of the glass im thinking of just cutting a piece of plywood an grouting onto that that way I’ll end up with just a tile board
That looks fantastic. I’m considering doing the same for my enclosure. I recently upgraded my baby to a 120 gal and I didn’t have anything big enough so there’s literally a plastic shower curtain as the floor in there right now 😂 I think she hates it but it’s temporary of course. Im wondering if there’s a way I could make the tile bottom removable, like have it adhered to some wood instead of the bottom. If I ever need to move the enclosure the extra weight would be a problem cause I’m so weak 😂
Hi, so I’m getting a glofish. How often should I feed it? Should I feed it daily? This may sound dumb. But my friend has one and said that I should feed it once a week, but I’m afraid it will starve. Please reply! Ps: I’m getting it in 2-3 weeks, so I want to be prepared.
Did you experience any issues with sharp edges of the tile? I’m about to do the same thing for one of my tanks but have the concern of the sharp edges of the broken tile so wondering from your experience if that ended up being an issue in the finished product?
Hey. So sorry for the late response here. No I haven’t had any problems at all. I was worried too at first. I had to make sure that when I was grouting between the tile to make sure I had the grout level with the tile. My beardie seems to like it and the tile helps to keep his nails trimmed as well. I hope your tank comes out great
Yes!!!!!! Best decision I’ve ever made. To clean it I just sweep it with one of those mini brooms and pans (people use them in their cars) then I’ll spray it with warm water and an old cloth and it gets all cleaned up!
If I have a wood enclosure how can I put floor tiles without damaging and without getting the wood to mold
Thx btw

Is the adhesive and grout mix safe from letting off any toxicity? I want to tile my tank too but I've been worried about it because of this.
Nice!
Looks great
I think all bearded dragons that are adults should have 75 gallon up too 120
I have a roughly 60 gallon terrarium I'm going to tile. Thanks for the video!
did u put grout under the tiles or did u lay them out and place them how u wanted then grout over them and into the cracks?
grout under the tiles. place them and then also grout in between the tiles .

Hello, is the tile stuck to the floor?
Yes it is
Does the bottom retain heat once it’s grouted and sealed? Seems like mine would enjoy, and the scenery is so cool!!
Yes. I have noticed since tiling it does retain more heat.
Get ceramic tile specifically and as matte and roughy finished as possible. You want it to retain heat and not reflect.
What did you do with your dragon while the grout dried?
+Stephanie Crissup I put him in one of my empty unused fish tanks. If I’m not mistaken I put him in a 20 gallon tank while I grouted.
What adhesive did you use
what did he lay under the tiles was it just tape or was it grout too or was the grout just in between the tiles
I think it was just grout

Zeek's House thanks for the info!
Does the grout clean as easily as the tile?
Yes!!!!!! Best decision I’ve ever made. To clean it I just sweep it with one of those mini brooms and pans (people use them in their cars) then I’ll spray it with warm water and an old cloth and it gets all cleaned up!
Nice step-by-step process! Love the video, will probably be doing something similar to this too!
How long did u wait to put him back in the tank ??
This is awesome! Thank you for the guide.
Does anyone know the exact measurements for the inside of the tank
It sure if the inside dimensions but if I’m not mistaken is a 40 gallon tank
How long did it take to dry? And did you seal the grout after?
