The only times I like these kinds of stories are either when it is very much a gag(and they do it creatively), they are highly specialized to do one thing(and truly only can do that one thing), or if there is one sort of severe crux or downside to the OP-ness they have and its that weakness that makes them think they are weak(and that downside is actually a downside, and not just that they think it is).
Trust me it's not as bad as when the main character thinks he's weak and everyone around him is trying to actively make them think that. I dropped a manga due to that very plot line 30 chapters out of 36 and they still lying to him (example they made him the master of an atelier without him knowing and told him he was merely an employee and made a fake master)
You know this could be really cool if she was like looking for her dad rather than a dangerously small love interest, but I have been meaning to watch this anime.
The girl isn't looking for a love interest. She wants to train under him to become stronger after seeing what he is capable of. Though he doesn't understand why she would want to after seeing her skills cause he doesn't thinks he's strong compared to her. Overall it is a really good anime.
