I thought that it was just another typing harem anime with a black haired typical overpowered MC, but tbh it was quite good. MC was created as the ultimate human to protect humanity but after his job was done the same humans he protected started hating him, so losing his one and only goal of his existence and his friends he started creating problems for humanity to solve again by himself. Doing this a few times he realised it was wrong and tried to kill himself, but he became so powerful that he was basically un-killable. So he provoked the demon queen to finish him because she has one technique that is potentially powerful enough to kill him. This was basically the whole anime, try watching it
Music choices was perfect for story telling of this anime, despite some of "Casual" saying this anime is bad, not knowing the charm of this anime is not on action but world building and character development so it's fair to say to those "casual" as "filthy casual"

Yep, he is so powerful if he fought for real they would have died in seconds. He basically pushes them so the demon queen would unleash the anti leon spell so his passive talents like insta healing or endurance would be not active so he could be taken down. He wants to lose so he could die. Watch the anime if you havent, it is good.

This anime had a great start off but the ending in my opinion sucked, as the last few episodes seemed rather rushed. Like there could have been so much potential for this to be a great adventure type of anime.

Now but some time before he helped in city deafeting monster but he didn't claimed rewards but hate and everyone there started to be scared of him so he tried to join demon lord forces. Someday they were talking about crystal that could help in dying demon land so he told them to follow him to mountains and then he said crystal was in him and it was his heart (that why he could be this op and almost immortal). He couldn't die himself but demon lord who used her most op skill destroyed his body and could end his suffering
blasting down that little wolf girl with that psychotic grin on his face is pretty messed up. I'm gonna need context, because this just makes him seem like a mindless psychopath... is this one of those "hero turns evil" stories?

@@overlordsombra5495 to clarify, he's a bio engineered super soldier, he has the power of adaptation, if he waits too long he will eventually reach a state where no matter who he's up against fighting him will be physically impossible, and his programming is slowly driving him insane, we eventually see that at one point he try's to make new units similar to him and his "siblings" and giving them the purpose of "being threats to humanity" as way to give him purpose, this causes him to wake up and start trying to find a way to shut down because he know's he will eventually become a threat to humanity, as programming prevents self harm he needed to find those both powerful enough, and wise enough to both defeat him and to lead the world into an age of peace, something he cannot do, history is doomed to repeat itself and all that (which we see that he himself has witnessed this very fact)
Ok, i think some context is needed to decribe just how hard leo was holding back. Spoilers: Leo was an artificial human specificly engineered for fighting overpowered magical threats in a time long before the current setting. (Im pretty sure its in the 10,000 year range.) His ability lets him evolve to any threat. Becouse of this, he has evolved so many overpowered traits that hes practicly invincible. Leo has every advantage in this fight. He counters every specialty the 5 combatants have. He has already singlehandedly eviserated the demon queens entire army, and only left them alone becouse he felt disillusioned by the whole ordeal. This man, given enough time, can theoreticly fight anos voldigoad, Saitama, and max power goku and win. This dude is doing the opposite of going all out here. He is going as lightly as possible against these five and he still only barely lost.
Not even sure you can call it a loss XD he only "Lost" because he took the spell that sealed all of his abilities but they even confirmed in the anime he had enough time to dodge it or block it but he chose not too since he wanted them to beat him and he knew they couldn't without that spell. But yes otherwise I completely agree with everything you said about him he has the potential to beat anyone and everyone who challenges him given enough time because of his abilities that adapt him to his opponents level.
He also said he wouldn’t be able to let that spell hit him again in the future. He could only make the decision to let it hit him because he hadn’t adapted to it before. It’s a bit of a tragedy as he can’t help himself but counter any ability he has already adapted to.
@Venefcus yes its pretty sad really as he made the decision to live with his friends now but he has also lost his way for them to kill him so even after they die he will be left alone again.. unless of course they think up a new spell but I find that unlikely since they said it was a genius who originally created the spell and it took years of research before they finished it.
I kinda disagree on him beating anos and saitama. But good take on goku. The reason why i said him beating anos is impossible is due to anos source. This dude can't interact with anos source + it's been hinted multiple times in the novel that his powers and strength is basically limitless. In volume 9 he stated that he only use 1/10000 of his power since if he use morethan that everything will be destroyed. And about saitama, his basically similar to this guy. Saitama will be always be stronger than his oppenent. If you try to make it that you and saitama equal he just gonna surpass you instantly and his growth will be faster than this guy can adopt.
