Kingdon Timbr-mart on Lansdowne st East in Peterborough recieves lumber on this line, and also cars are sent to Havelock yard with ties to unload, and also just random cars that end up returned to Toronto the same as they arrived empty or full. The spur in Ptbo to the Timbr Mart may be abandoned as the bridge and line leading to it are in rough shape.
Hey Cameron Someone Shot A t08 on Sunday and was going to post it dont know if you can find it didnt get the handle name it was Black Cat in French ??see if you can find it.
I'm surprised that cp has not tried to close this line or have some other shortline run it. It seems CP and CN would rather rip up lines than help to maintain them.
Ginger Rail as a matter of fact CP has made great improvements to the yard in Havelock as well as the entire line this year and a half. there completely replaced a few crossings and the worst track has been repaired. most likely due to the increased demand and length if trains in 2016

I used to take the westbound passenger train at Havelock on Sundays in the late 1950s Also remember seeing blocks of ties in the yard.
