So glad I stumped across this, I find the Audio Dramas better than any movies passed Aliens. I know from reading the comments and the channel size this ain't a big production like Alien Out of the Shadows or Sea of Sorrows but it was still very much worth the listen. Fits right in universe 🖤
There is a first draft if Alien 3 floating around as an audio book, totally different story to the POS movie, Hicks is the hero, Ripley is hardly in it... you'll love it...
I just listen to "Proximity" and i'm sad there is no comment section under because that was really sick. The ending gave me shivers holy crap! The acting was really good! And everything else too. I really love the story that's keep all his mystery. Master piece! And i see there is a lot more to discover on this channel! Awesome \o/
Currently working on something that puts it all together and adds Kurt Russel's movie 'Soldier'. Once I'm finished, I'm gonna approach Dark Horse comics to see if they want to make a graphic novel out of it.
I only just found this tale, and I have to say, I enjoyed it very much! The voice acting, music and effects made this a wonderful radio-show type story. It's a good mini-movie you can play in your head, with your own visuals. I'll subscribe!
Beautiful. You folks should do a lot more of these. Get an artist to make drawings to follow along with or heck even a minimal motion comic orso, that be fantastic!
Been listening to loads of Alien audiobooks and the Audible Dramas, this really is on the same level, without having any movie audio sounds like Audible does too with its big bucks..amazing work, wow!
Wonderful work! Such a great production, the sound design and music were top notch and the writing was excellent! Loved the Alien leitmotif/drone building up stress! Also, very good job on keeping this, I’m fairly certain, completely copyright safe!
This is extremely impressive work, right here! I had a much more enjoyable time listening to this one than I did some other “official” Alien radio dramas. Big kudos!
Enjoyed this audio drama ... Really adds more to the franchise. The actors and story were superb. Awesome work . Look very forward to any others you produce.
No argument there. Ridley Scott did a brilliant job with the original Alien but his follow on work with Prometheus failed to capture what made his original work great.
Thank you for all your hard work on the continuing of the Alien Lore in our Alien Universe. All us Face Huggers and Chest Bursters appreciate it very much. And on a personal note, if this one is as good as Proximity Alert and Tides Of Night, well we are in for a treat. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for uploading this audio drama, it was a nice new gem to add to the growing Alien story. I really enjoyed this audio. The voice actors did an amazing job. Big thumbs up to you for uploading and a bow to the talented writers and voice actors.
This was a fabulous story! I really liked it a whole lot more than any of the recent Alien movies. What I really liked was the happy ending. Noah, that rat bastard, gets his just deserts. I really enjoyed how Noah, who is a betrayer and murderer, really gets paid back for his actions. Yates, the victim of both the company and his human partner Noah is saved. and Elliot, who is the artificial "synth" shows more conscience and compassion, more sense of right and wrong, than the traitorous human Noah. I thought the idea of the alien that was "birthed" from Yates body was not a mindless beast was fabulous. It let both Yates and his friend Elliot live, while tearing Noah to pieces. Did the alien actually show recognition and gratitude to the man who had given it life? And then reacted to kill the other man who had hurt his "progenitor"? We don't know but it is a terrific plot point that adds a lot to the story. That is such a terrific change from the old "Alien" trope, and I really enjoyed it. In the end, Elliot and Yates both escape to a better life, with the added bonus that they screw the company that set this whole thing up and betrayed them both. I loved the story, but most especially the happy ending! Well done! I love a happy ending and so few stories give us one. I was enormously impressed with the quality of this production. It is beyond excellent----fantastic writing, well plotted and marvelously acted. The quality of the audio is excellent, easy to listen to. This is really a very high quality radio play----so well done that as you listen, you have no problem visualizing all the action as it happens. Highly recommended!
LOL , you are wrong about the xenomorph . It would of killed Yates but it did not because Yates had/has a embryo inside him and the android can't be a host and it was not a threat for the xenomorph . That is why the xenomorph did not attacked them and only got Noah XDD
Well this was an absolute treat, the story and sound design complemented each other perfectly to create a great atmosphere and a sense of dread that is pure Alien. Great work guys!
This is all around great. This is going in my private Alien audio playlist. It really shows how amazing this world is that there are so many great fan made projects out there. It's so loved that if there isn't a professionally produced audiobook of an Alien book there's a fan who probably has their own version they did for everyone out there. I've come across so many. People even doing audiobook forms of the comics. One of the best fanbases out there! Thanks and subbed...
How often do you guys do these radio dramas? I listened to Proximity and loved it. Edit: Listened to Abandon as well and as a big time critic of character writing, this is so well done. In a meritocracy this would be lauded for its superiority to the official material. I hope there's more coming soon.
Damn this was really cool and intresting. I assume he was infected by spores? That would explain how he survived the birthing since it seems abit random where neomorphs emerge from. Well done 😊

This was good, the only thing I didn't like was guy saying, "I don't understand the purpose of this planet if it can't support life," like what the f? Most planets can't support life, what a ridiculous thing to say
I very much liked this, great work (and free) :) but I have a question to understand the ending. Was he trying to sell the planet in his call ? If yes, how the new owner can do against the company ?
I wish there was some kind of visuals just a simple story board would do. I wonder if you just played it for an AI and asked it to make a storyboard if it could ?
@@PerfectOrganismPodcast Noah said it was a candy bar, when the scanners detected something in the external pocket of his space suit (when they were exiting the space ship). Elliot was infected with it when Noah messed about with his oxygen supply.
@@PerfectOrganismPodcast seems to me you left loads out..how it got out ..the fight between yates and Elliot..one min hes in the ship And synth out side..next min hes locked out an synth has no helmet on but no explanation. Stand your actors back from the mic so we can get a sense of Ambient space and encourage them to move while speaking it's the old BBC technique but it gives a much greater sense of reality and of them all being in one space with some Dynamics as they interact. Turn the volume in the headphones down to help them project more. It will all sound less clean and clinical and much more realistic, something that the sound effects just don't add
Little confused at the end . Did the company infect as a,last ditch effort to use the planet as a breediing ground ffor the Xenos Why did tge Xeno head for their ship sbd attack the other crew member and yet dud not attack the other two? Great story though.

Thought that was brilliant. Could have done with some distant screams and effects when Noah was killed by alien though
Nice story! How did the guy survive the chestburster though? ( was listening at work might have missed something)
Neomorph. Like the one that pops out the spine in alien covenant. Emerged and somehow didn't kill him.

Great story line
This is very well done, the characters are natural and believable
An alien comes out xenomoph
Ripley never told me he did this. 🙄
So true
What's the synopsis of this episode? It would be useful in thy description.
Some of the voice acting is so wooden and poorly timed.
I dont understand this story :(
How does the man get infected??
Noah spikes him with the black goo in his air tube
Or the spores from covenant, it's not made clear but has to be one of the two
He's infected via a spore put into his oxygen supply.
@@PerfectOrganismPodcast Noah said it was a candy bar, when the scanners detected something in the external pocket of his space suit (when they were exiting the space ship). Elliot was infected with it when Noah messed about with his oxygen supply.

How did Yates survive birthing a xenomorph? Was this ever explained or did I miss that?

How does Yates survive the break out of the xeno?
Maybe it came out of his ass?
Hmm, the Prometheus style spores enter the body from wherever, so why not exit too?
It burst through the lower portion of his rib cage instead of directly out of his chest.
