He said he saw all the judges voted for Philippines to win. Colombia sure deserve to win that night but the MOST DESERVING was Philippines. You know the quote "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" clearly Colombia was perfect but superficial whilst Philippines was elegant and had a good heart. Pia deserved the MU crown 2015!

Pia is simply Iconic. An inspiration for "not giving up" as she joined Ms Philippines competition trice. If you know anyone who wants to give, show her Pia's Ms Universe Journey. There is one line Pia said that really help me a lot, that was during her 3rd attempt in Ms Philippine pageant, before the competition start, she videoed herself with her friends, while Pia is talking the pageant, the atmosphere became sad, then Pia caught the change in the atmosphere, and immediately said "Why are you sad? No, I will post another video and we will celebrate because I will win". They all laughed and then she continued "I will make the star to align". This line literally moved me, such a powerful words. Wow! And the most divine thing is---IT DID HAPPENED. Also she is so down to earth and innocent and the way she handled the bullies with grace is one of a kind. wow! Truly the "most" deserving Ms Universe and one of my favorites Ms Universe of all time. 😊😊 Her name will always be remembered.
The last pose that Pia did in the swimsuit comp. was said to be inspired from the iconic super hero of Phils which is Darna. She even said that she did the Darna pose on purpose. 😂 Lots of love Siera!!!🙏❤
What you didnt talk about was how enchanting Pia was in every segment. The look and the face she was giving the camera every turn every close up shot was a first in Miss Universe! The camera works that night could tell...and the camera's focal point framing when Steve Harvey announced it, was beaming on Pia and not on Ariadna. The cameramen knew it because the director have already told by the production people that Pia was the winner. That's another fact about it. The camera works could tell.😊
I was watching this in tv live with my older sis. When colombia announced as a winner, i literally prayed/saying to myself that i hope the host got it wrong then things happened. I still feel sorry for colombia but it took a great boom to her career. Everything is good now except for the fans still arguing to this day.
@Touma Joon I think the heat is actually towards Montenegro's Maja Cukic who led the charge. Cukic was the biggest loser in all of this. Even her organization, Miss Universe Montenegro, had to apologize to Pia instead of her.
We had the same feeling! I watched the pageant with my grandma and usually after every show, we immediately turn off the tv but not at that time. We knew that something is wrong. Especially when Steve went back on the stage, you can really see how hesitated he was...

When the winner was announced, i was so disappointed like common it was almost there but still ended up runner up again, like in 2012, i can't accept it , i go to the restroom to pee and when i came back like the crown was on Pia's head hahaha! like wtf what did just happened? i was like screaming and jumping that time coz' i'm watching alone in my house.
I also thought it was going to be like 2012 with Janine Tugonon vs Olivia Culpo. But when Steve Harvey went up to the front of the stage and said, "Okay folks. I have to apologize," I knew Pia won.
When Colombia was declared winner, I was so pissed because Philippines was excellent in all three rounds especially in the final Q n A round. So, out of desperation and disbelief, I turned the tv off. Then moments later there was shouting everywhere in the neighborhood and I was like, "what the hell just happened". The rest was history.

It's weird that after all this time that footage of Pia being urged by Olivia Jordan and then by another girl among the crowd of contestants to go forward on stage should still be one of those moments from MU that still gives me thrills when I see it. First off, as mentioned by Pia herself it's the first MU title for the Phils. after a draught of 40 years then there's of course the mannner wirh which the mistake was dealt with: quick and decisive. (I don't know if you heard the conspiracy rumors that the mistake was deliberate in order to generate publicity for the pageant of - but that seems kind of silly.) Your video was truly enjoyable.
I always get sad watching the end of 2015 not because of the mix up, but because when Olivia gets called as 2nd runner up, you can tell she holds it together but seriously dies inside in that moment. She is one of the sweetest and best Miss USA's ever and deserved 1st runner up over Columbia at least. I also wonder about your comment, if she would have done an Olivia Culpo type evening gown in her "ICONIC" (I love that everything miss universe is iconic lol!) Pink/fushia color, if that would have made a difference? I did LOVE that dress but not sure now if she should have wooped it up a smidge? I agree, not everyone is onboard with the pose because we are not used to seeing these ladies do that kind of pose that’s why I chose to gave a straight out facts with regards to why Pia did that. For beauty and body France was the winner but bad answer. If we’re going to keep it real PIA won because of her answers. Nobody thought she was a strong beauty because she is not. Miss USA was cute but she looked better when she won miss USA. Miss Colombia was HOT but not very likable and answer was weak.

The camera works that night could tell...and the camera's focal point framing when Steve Harvey announced it, was beaming on Pia and not on Ariadna. The cameramen knew it because the director have already told by the production people that Pia was the winner. That's another fact about it. The camera works could tell.😊

I was watching this in tv live with my older sis. When colombia announced as a winner, i literally prayed/saying to myself that i hope the host got it wrong then things happened. I still feel sorry for colombia but it took a great boom to her career. Everything is good now except for the fans still arguing to this day.

Cukic was the biggest loser in all of this. Even her organization, Miss Universe Montenegro, had to apologize to Pia instead of her.
We had the same feeling! I watched the pageant with my grandma and usually after every show, we immediately turn off the tv but not at that time. We knew that something is wrong. Especially when Steve went back on the stage, you can really see how hesitated he was...

When the winner was announced, i was so disappointed like common it was almost there but still ended up runner up again, like in 2012, i can't accept it , i go to the restroom to pee and when i came back like the crown was on Pia's head hahaha! like wtf what did just happened? i was like screaming and jumping that time coz' i'm watching alone in my house.
I also thought it was going to be like 2012 with Janine Tugonon vs Olivia Culpo.
But when Steve Harvey went up to the front of the stage and said, "Okay folks. I have to apologize," I knew Pia won.
When Colombia was declared winner, I was so pissed because Philippines was excellent in all three rounds especially in the final Q n A round. So, out of desperation and disbelief, I turned the tv off. Then moments later there was shouting everywhere in the neighborhood and I was like, "what the hell just happened". The rest was history.
I turned off the TV after Ms. Colombia won and when I turned it on again, Pia was crowned Ms. Universe 2015.

Also, I hope that through you, we could suggest to Miss Universe to bring back the little sisters and the you are my star number during the evening gown competition, even for just one edition. This would be very nostalgic especially for fans that have been following the pageant since the 80’s. I personally have been following the pageant since 86 and Ive never missed a live telecast since then, at least on tv. The little sisters and the you are my star number never failed to say that the pageant has the heart for the children, which is super amazing! Help us 🙂

It's weird that after all this time that footage of Pia being urged by Olivia Jordan and then by another girl among the crowd of contestants to go forward on stage should still be one of those moments from MU that still gives me thrills when I see it. First off, as mentioned by Pia herself it's the first MU title for the Phils. after a draught of 40 years then there's of course the mannner wirh which the mistake was dealt with: quick and decisive. (I don't know if you heard the conspiracy rumors that the mistake was deliberate in order to generate publicity for the pageant of - but that seems kind of silly.)

I always get sad watching the end of 2015 not because of the mix up, but because when Olivia gets called as 2nd runner up, you can tell she holds it together but seriously dies inside in that moment. She is one of the sweetest and best Miss USA's ever and deserved 1st runner up over Columbia at least. I also wonder about your comment, if she would have done an Olivia Culpo type evening gown in her "ICONIC" (I love that everything miss universe is iconic lol!) Pink/fushia color, if that would have made a difference? I did LOVE that dress but not sure now if she should have wooped it up a smidge? Hmmmm

I agree, not everyone is onboard with the pose because we are not used to seeing these ladies do that kind of pose that’s why I chose to gave a straight out facts with regards to why Pia did that. I liked it when Pia put her clasped hands on her hips. It said boss, fighter, brave, I-got-this, all while still being cute and sweet for me. That gesture is what I remember her doing the most during that part of the competition.
