Just picked up mistweaver for the first time. I haven't done m+ since BfA and even then i never really tried it. I have to say your videos have been extremely useful in getting the hang of this class and fistweaving. I'm excited to see what TWW will bring because I'm having a lot of fun
Apparently, i wasn't fully using Chi-Ji 100 perfectly, and i also misunderstood how Enveloping Breath worked, thanks man, great video again.

@@LBNinja7 For one, i always try to maximize our Mastery so if i can't hit everyone with FS WHEN large amounts of AoE damage is about to happen (like big BL'ed pulls) and/or FS is on CD and i can't fish a refresh instantly, i will use EF to make sure everyone has the bolt buff so they get the double mastery proc and then pop Chi-Ji on top of that and use RSK, BK and/or SCK to Proc get the insta EnvM proc depending on the situation, BUT, in some scenarios where a 2-3 opponents exist i should've just used BK which just procs it faster (less GCDs i needed as a consequence i mean).
Tbf it wasn't entirely wrong the way i was using it but after watching this video and testing it on the dummies i've noticed that when multiple enemies are nearby just standing on top of FS and BK'ing always makes EnvM instant with Chi-Ji active so... *awkard.... self slap*
As for Env Breath, for some god forsaken reason, i thought it was proc'ing on targets from Chi-Ji's mastery procs, somehow i misred the tooltip the fist time, so when you were describing Celestial Harmony something instantly click since it didn't add up with my current knowledge, so i looked at the tooltip you showed and i am, holy shiet, my brain literally blind sided the part "...when you cast Enveloping Mist..."

I am a Holy Priest main giving Mistweaver a go for the first time since Pandaria and I am having so much fun. It's so different from Holy and I am in a constant panic being in melee (haha) but I am loving zipping around everywhere, kicking mobs in the head, interrupting like crazy and doing healing all the while. I am aiming to get KSM on it before the end of season and your videos have really helped - thank you so much. You have such a great way of explaining things :)
Your videos are so well made. I came back this patch & had no clue how to play my beloved mw. Thanks to your instruction I healed an 11 key my first M+ lol (at item lvl 421)

I started playing mistweaver this patch as I was coming back to the game and they were the healer that got the best RNG from timewalking quests managing to get Rashok's trinket. It took a while to get used to the playstyle but I've absolutely fallen in love with the spec and I'm looking forward to the buffs and changes next patch. It is going to have to fight for a spot with resto druid considering all the new cosmetics though.

I recommend to put 1 point in Resplent Mist, for the raid Chi-Ji. Since it just incresed the percentage of heal but the inital 30% mastery bonus proccs stay ontouched it give nice addditional proccs to reduce Chi-Ji even further
It's not the worst talent point ever, but note that it's 30×50% so only 15% bonus to a single one of your healing sources. If you put a lot of stats into mastery, most of this talent will just go to overhealing.
In all honesty, chiji does enough healing in m+ without having points in this talent, and in raid you just get more out of things like secret infusion

Hi LBNinja, your video is astonishingly helpful. What I am thinking at the moment is if the focus tea can be incorporated here. For example, after your Mythic plus roration, when you have enveloping mist on 5 teammates, you pop thunder focus tea and kick out three rising sun kicks every other GCD, it's gonna extend the enveloping mist and renewing mist much longer; In raid environment, using thunder focus tea would relieve you from worrying whether the rising sun kicks get reset because it is on a short CD. Let me know what you think. Appreciate it

for pvp and raid i take it, but not in m+! I also don't pvp much, but do know its strong there!

Hey, nice vid. We are now in 10.2.5 is there any changes to the BOK-EM-BOK-EM scenario cuz i only get one out free and after that im gonna "cast" ... what did i do wrong?
As long as you have 3 targets to hit, and you're on your jadefire stomp, your bok will hit 3 targets and fully stack!
YepYep, summon CHIJI healing is unparalleled, but the bad part is have to melee during the chiji time
You should be in melee at all times as a Mistweaver for the most part anyways. Raid spec not so much but M+ You are just straight up a melee class.
I’m new to mw so I’m still learning, managing to do around +18s at the moment. Is it worth chi ji with spinning crane kick on big pack pulls?

@LBNinja7 in regards to the essence font gust of mists + chi-ji interaction, do you still consider essence font not worth pressing in m+ after the 40% buff?
It's definitely closer now, and ef is more worth pressing if you thunder focus tea it, but faeline is just a more efficient way to apply it
so when chi is out, you dont want to sooth before envelope to make the envelope and instant cast? oh and are you able to do a vidio on how you mastered keeping renewing mist out on multiple targets?
Noooo you only ever soothing mist in keys if you need to use it to cast multiple spells. Soothing mist+enveloping mists takes longer than just enveloping mist!
Plus, the chiji will be making them instant cast!
@LBNinja7 ok good cuz it seems to take a couple seconds if I'm not casting soothing on regular casts so it was getting confusing. What about how to get renewing mists on multiple targets?
how do you get that luxthos bar for mist to work? if i ever remove it from the group it stops loading once i reload...

As someone who alt mistweaver im learning alot from you videos keep them coming, i noticed at 0:35 that ur running bounce back instead of resonating fists ? Isnt resonating fists a good amout of free damage that are too good to pass on ?
Bounce back got a major buff for 10.2 so if he’s in the PTR server then that’s why he has bounce back. But yes, 10.7 resonating fists is better
Yes I was on the PTR! The base damage buffs that we are receiving, alongside the scaling of all dps classes means that we just get less from resonant fists in 10.2 than we were before, and bounce back is pretty great now!
Do you have any tips for quickly and easily applying enveloping mist once you hit 3 stacks of chi ji? It feels clunky to me to be going ham and then have to click on or hover over a friendly nameplate to get the enveloping mist applied. I wish it auto applied to the nearest party member or something.
It should be relatively easy if you have clique casting for it. But if you want an alternate way, I've seen one way some people heal m+ is to have their f1-f4 buttons to focus their team mates, and use those to toggle focus targets

Just a small mistake i think, at 24:40 when you talk about starting the rotation you say press chi chi, rsk , bok but you have on screen chi chi , bok - but as you said probably prioritising RSK is the way to go!
And did you test it out how cleave BOK are compared to SKK. I think often you dont need the full healing value and it would be interessting at which mob count you switch from BOK to Spinning. Is it 4 is it 7 ? I just like to maximise dmg as well :)

Yeah you are right! But it is 4 or more! I have been working on a spreadsheet that fully answers this question and includes healing and damage, but it's so hard to put together

OVER cloudevurst, no. Alongside it and maybe better for 1-2 fights, yes!
@@LBNinja7 i love fistweaving so much, like m+ playstyle is literally my favorite spec/build in the game and I just can’t figure out raid healing on monk. 😭 I do alright in raid but not even close to some of the numbers I see other MW put up in raid. I long for the day I can roll up to a raid and fistweave my little heart out. Lol

Tbf it's not just a normal spell that you cast and it does the same thing every time like a vivify. I've seen longer videos explaining things like mage's combustion windows, this is more like that.
Still not a chi ji fan sorry and I shouldn’t be forced to use it .. not big on fist-weaver either I remember when healers where healers not forced into dmg is crap!! Thats why nobody wants heal anymore should just be a mindless dps.. # justsaying in a perfect world dps get out of poo everybody kicks everything yea fist-weaving would be fun , people that haft pug and don’t have a mythic + grp it’s impossible sorry!! Just my opinion
What did i just read
Yes true fact mist waver is so squishy no damage reduction skills, just that kukoon shield that does not absorb! Anything is just some extra health bar. Getting oneshotted by some stupid dung mechanic cuz, if the healer dies everyone dies, so this is good if You have a great knowing all mechanic group and mostly doing it for fun, but with this toxic eviroment in wow, and and your starting mystic with not SO good gear you'll be getting roasted and throw off cuz or not doing much damage or not doing much healing and or dead.! Being forcé to melee being sushi squishy it's not fun at all why would i pick fist waeving over holyrpiest or shaman?, i came to SEE what's so good about it, and didnt see anytihing just more work, more stuff to do for the same healing any other class could do.. fistweaving it so overwhelming just to do the same amount of healing that other class could do... Pointless 😅 thats just My opinión like You just said and i agreed 💯%
