Always enjoy the mini monday madness. These were lots of fun- and quick!. The cool tones are my favorite. I love having tiny art to put around my house and I've also gifted some! Yay!
Thee would make beautiful greeting cards! I normally favor cool colors but also like the red. So I think mixing colors would be interesting as you mentioned! Thanks for giving us great ideas and sharing .
love mini Monday, i find I get less intimidated on the cute small paper. i do have a que...I'm a beginner watercolorist, only been doing this a year, but i REALLY love watercolor. However, i get so discouraged because my paintings either don't turn out anything worth looking at or nothing like that that is being taught. i understand all the reasons, art is one's own interpretation, etc...I can accept mine will not turn out exactly like anyone else's but the problem I need to change is how to get quality supplies. I've been using cheap cheap supplies for the year. I'm now where i want to work with better paints, paper, and brushes. I know I will end up with more pieces I like then I do now and probably much less thrown a "temper tantrum" and walk out of my paint room just to not come back for a few days to try it all over again. the big problem is my budget is to tight to live off of as it is. I want to be able to become good enough to make a living or at least some extra income by doing what I love. So with all this being said i would love to hear from you Mrs. Trent and others suggestions on how to get the better quality supplies or maybe some brands that are good as you use or close to it. I think it's going to be baby steps.... I'm ready for the next level...and suggestions welcomed and ty for your beautiful work and great encouragement that makes me feel I can do way better then I can right now
I love the cooler mini because blues and lavenders with green are my favorite colors. I was wondering how these might look on larger paper. Thank you for bring us bright moments with your wonderful art and happy talk instructions.
Amazing! I am a crafter and I like to colour in stamps. Just starting to watercolour. This is excellent for a birthday or get well card. Thank you very much.
Love it. I did a cool quickie flower dealie you did the other day, I kept painting the same thing in variously monochromatic cards. So much fun. I love this one you're doing now. I still want to know warm cool blue, red, yellow....still a little confused.
@@ellencrimitrent yes but warm cool blue and each primary warm, cool. Then you have various names for the same color, I want pigment number to get them straight. I use White Nights mainly. Some Daniel Smith and ( Royal that I found on sale at Walmart...heavy pigment though) And then why, I'm just 'playing' anyway!
@@robynsmith7612 there are various names because their are various colors, Prussian blue, indigo blue, ultramarine blue etc. I put in description box and then while I am painting I mix them so I cannot give you a specific number as because its an organic color I made. I use Holbein WC- here are the numbers of the ones I used : W247, 243, 319, 370, 211, 301, 307
