Man this is gonna sound old but Chuck Finley’s wife was Tawny Kitaen who was the girl dancing on the car in the Whitesnake video. He filed for divorce from her after she drove her stiletto heels into him while he was driving. She was charged with DV I believe. Stud pitcher in the 90s though
I always knew Randy was dominant in that 4 year Cy young stretch with AZ but MY GOD the difference in strikeouts between him and 2nd place each year is insane 😭😭
Matt Clement is such a lost little cool guy in baseball history. That Cubs rotation in the early 2000's of Wood, Prior, Zambrano, Clement, and Maddux was so scary good. Clement was a 3-4 WAR a year pitcher who was the Cubs No.4 Then he goes to Boston, has 1 good year, gets hurt and is just straight up done by 05.
I've never had reason to question Lucas's baseball knowledge chops. That is until he suggested that Jamie Moyer could possibly have achieved anywhere near ~200 strikeouts in a season😂
Lol Jeremy Bonderman #2 in the AL in 2006, honestly didn't expect them to get that given how unknown he is outside of Detroit and how they know like nothing about the Central
Bonderman was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 2001 MLB draft. He was involved in a three team trade with the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees. Jeff Weaver went to the Yankees, Carlos Pena and a couple of pitchers, including Bonderman, went to the Tigers, and Ted Lilly and some other people went to the Athletics via New York.
I gotta say that it's crazy that they don't pay for the premium version of sporcle. The amount of videos they make, there's no reason that they shouldn't be paying for a subscription to it and supporting the website.
This is a little before your guys time but Chuck Finley was super famous for a week or two in the early 2000s for a really messy divorce and being the victim of spousal abuse from his wife, who was a SI swimsuit model.
start making sports content, they hire people who already have experience and can show they can bring something new to the table - not people they have to tell what to do, but people who can come up with their own ideas. they're actually hiring right now for someone to make warehouse content start to finish.
Strangely, forgetting to guess Wil Myers has cost you points on another Sporcle.
THEY SAID HIS NAME.
@@poltergeese9124but they didn’t type his name. If they did they would have gotten two more points.

She would later be referenced in Bowling For Soup’s 1985
@@Deltabreeze9actaully SR-71s 1985 bowling for soup is a cover
@@Deltabreeze9 Fun fact that song was actually written by SR-71. The Bowling For Soup version is a cover.
addicted to the sporcle vids
Love the quizzes, especially when Lucas is around.

And the immediate drop-off to Wood with 68 fewer Ks is absolutely bonkers
Time to go on a walk and listen to the boys name obscure baseball players for 20 minutes
Looks like a Jolly video on Chuck Finley is coming soon!
Him admitting he's never heard of a guy who almost hit 60 career WAR was pretty funny. Guy was just consistently really good for over a decade.
still forgot a myers 😂
Happy Grape at it again
Jovial cherry tomato keeps at it
Never mind that they got like 20 names that I didn't, I always feel good that I got 2 names they didn't lol
A more shaven lucas looks like an absolute baby dude
14:40 Lidge had 157 in 2004. Not enough for a top five spot but insane for a relief pitcher.
Digging Lucas’s gravely voice here.
I didn’t get so many that you guys did, but was so proud I got Hill

I love Moyer, but it would've taken him 350 innings to get to 200 ks in a season lol.

That all happened in early July of 2002 btw.
I kept thinking that the 2000 Dodgers pitcher was Chan Ho Park. He was good for the team during the very early 00's.
I only got 220/254 but I got the rarest answer Chuck Finley right because I knew he went to Cleveland in 2000. Being an Angels fan pays off sometimes
Love Lucas (and Dan) on camera!
I’m feening for that sporcle hit
I got Chan Ho Park, I always associate him with early Dodgers pitching
Lucas should be in EVERY video!
Ryan lowkey predicted Cease would return to the Padres, even down to the very date.
Yall need to do the hall of famers one
Always love some sporcle content
Let’s go!!!

I am screaming Chan Ho Park
Felt so proud of my 90% till I watched :(
Mariners legend, Gil Meche
"Never heard of Chuck Finley" kinda looks bad.
Gagne?
2004 angels Kelvim Escobar and chan ho park on here twice 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷
If it makes you feel better Lucas, Melky was trash for the Braves.
You are real professionals! Your videos are always happy with quality and useful information. Thank you for your hard work.😃❤️💯

Title is so ambivalous. I thought we were talking hitters.
Day 37 of asking what I would have to do to become a JM Baseball member.
On any of those 37 days did you try googling Jomboy Media job postings?
I'd love to join as the AL Central rep lol
@ id like to be a brewers/nl central since they seem to be worse at the centals than all other divisions
@RelaxedPotato-02631i called dibs on brewers expert already
