If not answered at right time sometimes they may make feel embarrassing. It our perception and frame that little children dont understand the soul leaves and mortal body gets back to panch mahabhootas. Athato brahmajidnyasa is the instinctive behaviour so are the questions and should be answered properly, not just scolding or ignoring the children.
