Petite Negri - A good Violet de Bordeaux-type fig variety for the east coast

Petite Negri is a variety that has performed well for me for several years now. It has a good Violet de Bordeaux-like flavor with less of the splitting issues that have occurred for me in the rain.

VDB has splitting issues? I've been growing it for 3 years in a pot with no problems . idk.

I think there are different strains floating around, maybe some under the name VdB. I had two VdB from different sources and they were both splitters. But other strains, like Black Crimean, are having no splitting
