My sister got disfellowshipped when she was 18. I was 7 at the time. The night she left our house, her and my parents had a huge blowout fight upstairs while my brother, sister, and I were downstairs in the basement family room. A friend of hers picked her up and I heard my dad yell "Your ride is here! Your ride into the world! You'll regret this!". I had no idea what disfellowshipping really meant. We had no contact with her for 7 years when she was reinstated bc she has admitted she needed help with a newborn baby and she missed us so badly. I was terrified she had died. She has told me that she tried to call and talk to my siblings and I weekly and my parents refused to let her talk to us. She sent us letters which we never saw. There were times I thought she had died because we weren't given any answers. Even when we asked my parents they would say " We don't talk about Kelly!". I remember this so vividly and I'm 45 years old. It was just one of the normal traumatic things we born ins had to just accept. All of my siblings and I have been out for 12 years now but the damage this upbringing has done to us still rings bright to this day.
OMG wasnt that a mature way to handle your questions Seriously so much for good parenting skills not to mention the whole DF thing Sorry for your pain and trauma This cult has damaged so many of us Happy to be out 🥳
I am so very sorry for the 7 year old you and the current day you. Anyone with a heart would have a very hard time getting over this trauma. This cult makes people behave so cruelly. 😢
@erinblue5872, That's terrible that your parents would cause you for several years, starting at the age of 7-years-old, to go through such emotional agony making you constantly worry as to whether or not your older sister was doing alright or even alive after she was disfellowshipped because they refused to let her have any contact with you or your other siblings. Not only that, but your parents wouldn't allow you or your other siblings to talk about older sister in their presence. I'd say that if anyone can act like that in regard to their own child because their child dared to break a religious rule, then maybe you shouldn't be a parent or guardian.
My grandma was a faithful JW for many decades and spent years in pain because she wanted to talk to me, but because i left over 20 years ago, she was told she could not. She passed away 4 months ago and then all of these new rules and allowances are released. Imagine dedicating your entire existence to this and then just months after you pass away, your church has changed its doctrines and we could have spent precious time together before she passed. I will never get over this heartbreak
Having left decades ago, it is fascinating going down the rabbit hole again but this time from the outside. Great channel, new subscriber here and I'm thoroughly enjoying binging your videos.
It's particularly cruel when a victim of sexual abuse is shunned merely on the pretext of blaming the victim for the abuse suffered while have been a child. To blame a sexual abuse victim for being abused is quite beyond cruel. It is presumptuous, backward, and just plain wrong-headed.
@@georgebrown8312this stupid mentality of victim blaming relies on the absolving of men's sexual impulses. For some reason it's women's fault for being attractive. You got raped and that is now a source of shame for our family?????
I’ve been rereading Animal Farm and 1984 and it is wild how many parallels there are! It’s so blatant it’s kind of painful to watch. Also I really missed hearing, “If Tibor is gracious…” 😢
Well, i can't think of anything would've been missed, this was a pretty diverse sweep. Some make you shake your head, others make you scream in disgust at your screen. As I watch each of these examples, I can only imagine myself attempting to use the counterpoints with my own mother or daughter, but that opportunity will never present itself, it's just a fantasy. Great selection, great work, Lloyd!
Alternate ending: Abraham, wait, stop, do not do this. How could you possibly agree to do this to your son? How could you possibly know where the voices are coming from? There was no way of proving the source of the voice. You acted based on a best guess. What kind of God would need such an offering as this anyway? What kind of God would traumatize faithful ones like you or your son? Give me one reason why this request and act makes any sense coming from a loving God. Why would I now choose you as the father of my people? You have failed the test.
If life is more than we deserve, I would imagine that we were something else disgusting before becoming human..conscious of how disgusting we were...!! Gee maybe I was a disgusting tapeworm before being human!
Next month i am signing up ...absolutely love all your videoes....thank you souch lloyd...i studied the bible on and off eith the witnesses for ten years....one of the hardest most depressing times of my life....the ambivalence and cognitive disonance i suffered literally ripped me apart....i hope your videos will save others a lot of pain
If I was a leader in a billion dollar real estate corporation I’d be embarrassed to brag about a little girl in Mexico giving them her 17.00! If you’re not a JW fyi they have no food banks or any other charities that directly feed or clothe people in the various communities. I am a non believer now but I must at least say the churches I attended when I first came out impressed me with their community service!
@chriscampas-svensson461, I agree. There are some non-JW Christian denominations and independent churches that help feed the hungry, clothe the naked and house the homeless in their local community -- regardless of the background of those in need. The JWs are really only encouraged show such charity to fellow Jehovah's Witnesses, and if you break one of the Society's many rules and don't apologize for it, you would be left to suffer even if you were in desperate need of help.
Ex JW from Germany here. I recently found your Channel and now I'm watching all your Videos. I was born and raised in the cult was disfellowshipped when I was 21 and went back to them when I was 24 ( mostly because of the shunning I think) but left them about one year later. I'm now 54 and a happy Atheist. My Sister and her husband are still JW's but we don't have a lot of contact. So I didn't know of all that has changed there. I appreciate your work very much! I was trying to find a similar German channel but there is not really one. Please keep doing your work!
Hey Lloyd, after watching the full video I wanted to follow up on my comment to add a couple of other things: 1. While I do appreciate the longer videos, I know it’s not sustainable to do them all the time when you’re solo. I think your audience will watch all kinds of stuff you put out, so I don’t wanna seem like I’m dogpiling on you to do more work with fewer resources. 2. I also appreciate that this kind of content takes an emotional toll, so if you wanna continue to make stuff that isn’t as grim, I will watch that, too. Love all your videos! Appreciate it.
Hi Lloyd, 👋😊 So glad that your video popped up 🥰 I don’t know how the hell you chose only 10…lol because they’re all bad! Every. Single. One. Of. Them. 🥴
Love your videos! Great information! Growing up, my mother was a Jehovah's Witness, even though the rest of my family - my father, grandparents, cousins, aunts, etc. - were not Jehovah's Witnesses. It's been one of the biggest challenges for me to overcome as an adult. That religion really damaged me, and I suffered mental abuse from my mother. She would ignore me for days or even weeks, giving me the silent treatment from the ages of 7 to 13. Eventually, I stopped caring and didn't need her as much when I became a teenager. I never went to a meeting again, but she still didn't support me in things that were considered "part of the world." I felt very alone and couldn't go to her with my problems or for advice because she always turned it into a religious discussion. As I've gotten older, I've realized more and more the mental abuse I endured because of this cult. I can't imagine ever treating my son like that. Every time I think back to my childhood and being part of the Jehovah's Witnesses, it makes me cringe. I know several other kids who grew up in fanatic Jehovah's Witness families, and most of them have similar issues. I was lucky to have the rest of my family not involved in it, so I could see how ridiculous this cult is - even as a child. It was embarrassing to see my mother trying to push her religion on others, always thinking she had the truth and everyone else was wrong. I'm still embarrassed about it.
My mother became a JW when I was 4 years old. My mother has been devoted since then. I've never been baptize but I almost did it at 28. But something stoped me. I've always been in and out. I've always come back because my mother treats me better when I'm in. I have religious trauma, I have OCD towards death. I'm always afraid that I'm doing wrong because God will kill me in Armageddon. I have never looked for information because it is all "apostasy" . Yesterday my mother told me very cheerfully that she can wear pants now to the reunions. My sister (who was sexual harassed by a JW when she was 12, they knew and did not do anything. They told my mother and my sister that they should not tell anyone ) told me yesterday that she knew all that information (beard, pants, and the change in shunning) I asked her how she knew that information and sent me some videos of Exjw. I am seeing all these information today that I'm considering suicide. All my life I have been so frustrated that I'm not worthy of Jehova's love because I'm not in the organisation and my mother is so dissapointed at me... Sorry if my english is not good.
Please please don't commit suicide. It is NOT worth it. I have given my whole life to this religion and trust me it Is NOT worth your life. Join if you believe. Don't if you are not 100% convinced of their beliefs. Don't let anyone or any organization be the author of the only dictionary that defines you!!!
Go get some help, it sounds like you’re in a bad way. There’s a life beyond all of this and believe me there’s a lot of richness and happiness to have. Sending you hugs!
Horrifying but as always nicely put together Lloyd. 😊 The blood issue has struck a cord with me. For divided families where there would be two parents either side of a hospital bed each with an opposing decision for their child need some help. It would be one vrs one plus HLC plus elders and support they brought along. You wouldn’t stand a chance, or have time to prepare. You would need an easily download document prepared explaining the coercion tactics, excerpts from shepherding the flock showing this isn’t their child’s decision and they would be shunned if they accepted potentially live saving treatment from their family and friends.
My grandma passed away around the same time my grandad (on my other parent’s side) got disfellowshipped. I remember the pain from my grandad begging disfellowshipped was 10x greater. That panic that if Armageddon came soon, I would never see him again. It really messed with my head
Every single video , book and publication must be kept safe !! They are proof of what this cult does to his members and ex-members. I left organisation over 20 years ago and im being shunned by my family and ex-friends. There was no mobile phones with camera back then , such shame , I would love to record my last conversation with my sister. We were always very close. She was my favorite family member. We stayed very close for a few years after I left the organisation and then someday she told me that she is not allowed to tak to me anymore. I was in total shock. She was crying her little heart out , it was as much heartbreaking for her as for me. It has been around 15 years since that conversation. I never met her children , she met my son once - only because there was an emergency situation in family. We don't know each other. Same with my brother and recently my mum who gone back to JW. Btw my mum has been left by organisation in the worse time of her life. She had no job and mental health problems. The non-believer let her stay in his house for free as she had no money to pay rent. She was disfellowshipped for living with a man... She left his house and have been sleeping on street for over 2 weeks!!! Not ONE fellow "brother or sister" helped her. I drove over 2 hours to search for her on streets. I , the Satan's child who left the organisation helped her. I took her in and later found her a job and flat to live in. I also got her medical help for her mental problems. 2 or 3 years ago she decided to go back to JW and since then we had no contact. If my brother or sister leave JW my doors will be always open for them but my mother is dead to me. I will never forgive her.
The JWs constantly remind me of the lyrics from the song Judith by A Perfect Circle, "you're such an inspiration for all the ways that I will never, ever choose to be". The kind of senseless, insane shit one has to choose to believe to be a part of that cult is astonishing.
Seeing Job used as instruction for my father with crippling heath issues has only become more and more disgusting to me. The story itself shows that "God" is responsible for the completely undeserved suffering that Job suffered. Similarly, a blood transfusion could have spared this young man from lots of pain. Yet now he thanks this "God" for this... gift? Even by scriptural logic... if blood is sacred because "out of it are the sources of life" doesn't that mean that life is more important than blood? Does that not mean that blood only has value because it sustains life? Does that not mean that denying blood is destroying what "God" has deemed as sacred? Truly diseased thinking.
I do agree with the idea that none of us deserve life. It's quite narcissistic to think that any of us deserve anything from the universe. But most importantly, it helps us be thankful and cherish the gift of life we do have.
The Caleb and Sophia cartoons are heartbreaking. The expressions on those poor kids' faces...maybe it's also to inure the adult watchers against letting their kids' sadness stop them doing 'Jehovah's will'?
" We are Not embarrassed not an apology is needed for not getting it EXACTLY right in a first place"... That's not the language or attitude of a REAL spiritual leader, it's an !nsults to people's intelligence devotion to God....No shame, no HUMILITY whatsoever. This is EXACTLY the OPPOSITE of what a TRUE Christian leader should sounds and look like. The only person who will ever listen to them, is the person whose COMMONSENSE has been DISABLED. Nobody needs to bring them down, THEY ARE DOING ALL BY THEMSELVES already.
@JamesBRox-dv1pk, That's what happens when you belong to a group that demonizes the concept of independent thinking, you surrender your critical thinking skills and so much of your autonomy over to someone else. I'm an atheist, though I know there are some great Christians, great religious people in general and there are even some terrific religious leaders out there in the world, the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses -- unfortunately, they cannot be counted as being amongst them, in my opinion.
Hey Lloyd, were you aware that the speakers of these annual conferences do not write their own speeches, but are given to them by the Watchtower org to be presented at these meetings just as written, with no deviation?
I have an important question about the first video : Did GOD know that Abraham WAS going to murder his son or not? Because it seems to me he didn't know whether he will do it or not. If GOD is omnipotent and omniscient, he should have known, shouldn't he? I'm confused. Same thing: did he know that Adam was going to eat the apple? Because he acted like he didn't know.
Over many decades, tens of thousands in many sub-sahara West Africa and other poverty-stricken countries, so many people with Elijah's health problems or similar worse cases have DIED due to lack of medical facilities and personnel.
I found the piggy bank story sad and disappointing on several levels. Maybe I’m weird, but teaching long term planning is really important to me. My son is 6 and I’ve been teaching him about saving money etc. I 4X everything he saves, but will remove my contribution if he insists he needs to buy X. However, at the end of the year every year he has option to deposit all that’s been saved that year into a bank account for bigger things in the future etc. It’s actually worked well, after the first year he had me deposit $580.92 in his long term account.
My sister in law her dad died a few years ago, never being a jw because his son was df so he could still speak to his son as his mom and sisters wouldn't. When he died no one bothered to find the son to tell him. When he found out his dad died ,the only person that spoke to him, he killed himself. They creamated him without any services, his. Sister didnt even go home nothing,as he was nothing to them. They have lots of blood on their hands !
Men should not put on the clothing of women; have they never seen what Jesus and his apostles wore? or Scottish men in kilts? or male Romans’ clothing at Jesus’ time? Clothing styles are relevant and have changed drastically over ages. In fact, high heels used to be a sign of masculinity.
I remember a certain married elder speak at the kindom hall and everyone giving him total respect . While all the time he was having a secret affair with a married woman from the congregation. 😮
I will comment on only one thing and that’s the Abraham video. To me it would be the best demonstration of love and faith to not kill your son NO MATTER WHO you think is ordering it!! That is family. Nothing else matters. Period!
Lloyd , there is no one to take your place. I miss your take on the Witness Program. I’ll tell you why, because I’m not sure the ones that are popping up now are going to be fair like you. Not all ExJW, tell it straight. They still believe in God.
You know, I never thought about it until recently while going through university. What if everyone back then who heard voices or saw miracles performed were either sick or poisoned with something like mushrooms? If you think about it, Abraham hearing god randomly asking him to sacrifice his son could be a symptom of Schizophrenia, Ergot Poisoning (This grows commonly on rye or other grains; it's hard to see and can often look like ground flower), High Fevers, Meningitis, or even great lack of sleep. All have existed for a long long time, they just couldn't understand advanced medical topics like that. This would really explain away the majority of the bible, even Jesus performing miracles, if he knew the right herbs/fungus to give to people! Just a thought!
@MrToast72, Interesting theory, but I don't know if it holds much weight. When the Bible was written, most people believed in the reality of the supernatural. It wasn't unheard of for people to have experiences that they believed were supernatural, even divine, or that they were favored by the gods. The historical Jesus' miracles were probably, largely acts of exorcism and faith healing. They probably weren't supernatural in origin, though Jesus probably thought they were and that he was favored by Yahweh himself. From what I know of Biblical scholarship, the New Testament authors portray Jesus as performing miracles that mirror those of Old Testament prophets like Moses, Elijah, Elisha etc. It was kind of their way of saying to the first century Christian readers of their writings, "See, Jesus of Nazareth was an exceptionally holy man just like these guys." They probably would have been viewed as a sign to his fellow Jews (and later to Christian readers of the New Testament in the first century) that the establishment of the kingdom of God on earth was close at hand. Jesus probably thought he really could heal people, and probably managed to convince others that he could, too, if they trusted him and had strong enough faith in God. While Jesus' healing methods may have had a positive effect on those persons whom he performed his feats on...if he actually was able to permanently cure or provide temporary relief to anyone dealing with any serious illness or infirmity, we will probably never know. Again, whether his faith healing tactics were supernatural in origin, we'll probably never know.
I noticed in the Abraham video that the "boy" Isaac sports an impressive beard and looks to be in his mid 20s. In My Book of Bible Stories, Isaac looked like a smooth-faced 10-year-old. I think that a 10-year-old would have been closer to the truth of the child sacrifices performed in ancient Southwest Asia. But I guess not even the JW script writers could stomach that (unlike the illustrators of My Book of Bible Stories!)
@katew.9402, Isaac don't look like no "boy" in this dramatized video, nor in the original version of the "MY BOOK OF BIBLE STORIES" storybook from 1978 (?). I wonder if the story of Isaac's near sacrifice by Abraham, which I imagine is fictional, was a reference to the ancient Israelites possibly having committed child sacrifice in the name of Yahweh before going on to condemn the practice outright?
I can think of hardly anything human action more debased, crooked and corrupt than emotionally manipulating young children to believe the choice to retain and enjoy what they earn or are gifted is a choice that morally corrupts them. I'm obviously responding to the bit of sermon around the 34 minute mark about the 6-year-old epileptic Mexican girl and the truth is that I truly admire her for the choice she made to gift her savings to the church. I just can't help thinking that, had I been the one receiving the donation from the little girl, it would not have been with a glad heart at all. And inwardly, although of course I've no reason to believe the act gave that innocent little girl anything but the greatest sense of joy, I can't help but curse the dogmatic training of Christian adherents from the most tender ages to tithe unthinkingly to maintain favor with your god, even if that god is a jealous one of war ready to damn the many to endless torment and if you are one of the chosen few, all you'll know of that damned myriad will be a sort of Heavenly reality TV show - "The Real Taoists of China".
@markwarrensprawson, I largely agree. The JWs don't practicing tithing, but they can donate a certain amount of money every month to their local Kingdom Hall if they are able to and wish to. Elders have to send in a certain portion of their followers' monetary donations to the Society every month rather than keeping it for the local congregation's needs. The Witnesses don't threaten you with torture in a lake of fire where you consciously burn in agony forever, but they do threaten you will annihilation at Armageddon and then ceasing to exist, basically having to remain in a state of unconscious sleep for all of eternity. To me, that isn't much better than the doctrines of most conservative, fundamentalist or extremist Christians of whatever denomination who hold to a more traditional view of Hell.
Oof, can't believe there are so many dislikes on this video. All you haters should get off this channel before Satan's influence takes full control of your lives 😂 Thanks for not giving up on doing this important work, Lloyd!
It bothers me so much 1:30 when they ask to imitate characters - and they don’t lead by example! Well apply it!: this is addressed to Mark Sanderson which speaks Russian: IMITATE MOSES!! Go to PUTIN (the faroah) and ask to “let your people go!!!” Thanks Lloyd for your opinion on Al these horrific, evil, culty organization videos!!! Miss the Broadcasting rebuttals! 😉 And I continue saying: DOWN WITH THE TOWERRR!!!
@migdaliafuentes1618, To me, Mark Sanderson is also morally bankrupt like Putin. The Society has no qualms about putting Witnesses in serious potential danger in countries like Russia or elsewhere when they're undergoing persecution by governments. Rutherford's actions by trying to reason with and then condemning Hitler with divine punishment through letters only helped intensify the persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses at the hands of the Nazis during the Second World War.
Interesting video, Lloyd. My heart breaks for that poor handsome JW young man who survived having a massive brain tumor. I have no clue if a blood transfusion would have helped him or not, but it's tragic to think that if it could have, he now has to suffer the potential consequences and health aftereffects of that refusal. He was raised as a JW it would seem, so he likely wasn't allowed to consider any other viewpoints at all, whether those other viewpoints might have any sort of validity to them or not. He was only doing what his Witness parents and faith community taught him to do. He is only saying what they taught him to say. The story about that little Laura girl who is dealing with epilepsy...she likely donated that money to her Kingdom Hall and the Society's worldwide preaching efforts because she just wants to help, but a child really has no business donating their allowance to a religious institution that doesn't need a child's money to begin with. She was mostly likely influenced by the examples other Witnesses (and possibly the actions of Sophia in the "BE JEHOVAH'S FRIEND" series of animated videos produced by the Society) and probably assumed that in the eyes of many Witnesses, that it would be selfish of her to spend that money on herself.
My cousin died of a brain tumor. It was benign but the surgeons weren't able to remove it completely because they were afraid of severe bleeding and of course they weren't allowed to help her with blood transfusions. So a part of the tumor was left and bc it was fast growing she died in a young age.
Thank you for being the first TH-camr to get me out. I researched on my own and studied. From what I researched, I gained cognitive dissonance. I want to know THE TRUTH more than anything. After researching our own material and seeing serious conflicts for me; I got the nerve to watch your video about the Witnesses and the U.N.
I’m not a JW nor have I ever been so I have no bias. I only watched the first video ( #10) and don’t see what is wrong with it. That’s how the Bible said it happened. The parallel is God gave his only son for us. There’s nothing wrong with critical thinking, but not the point of trying to disprove the Bible by its stories. The Bible says Gods ways are higher than our ways, and his thinking is higher than ours. ( Isaiah 55:8-9)
@TinaGolik, I don't really care what the Bible says, nor do I have to uphold it as authoritative on historical, moral, ritual or theological issues. If you want to, that's your prerogative. I agree that critical thinking is a good thing, but I don't see why the Bible's stories should be exempt from objective scrutiny. Yes, the Bible may say that God's ways our higher than us mortal humans' ways, and that his way of thinking is superior to ours -- but why should I care what about what the authors of the Bible thought, and who are they to tell me that I can't question God's ways or his judgment?
There's everything wrong with the first video. First up, God (Jehovah/Yahweh/LORD) requested Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac with the intention he'd carry it out. It wasn't Jehovah/Yahweh/LORD who intervened to stop Abraham from slaughtering his son, but an angel of the true God of divine love who intervened. This makes him a blood thirsty, evil God who approves of child sacrifice. Secondly, Jehovah/Yahweh/LORD gave up the son whom he claimed as his own firstborn, to be the ULTIMATE HUMAN BLOOD SACRIFICE for the atonement of mankind sins. It is this God who is into child sacrifice, the God of the Hebrews, who is none other but SATAN the DEVIL.
Hi Tina, yours is very sound observation and definitely coming from a good place but people here who got away from the JW's grip are slightly traumatized. Wickedness is running wild among many, either inside or outside. I'm only here to learn about the views and their experiences. Now in your comment I found the warm ways that I love about the message of the "true one". Thx! Bless your heart. Amen
Hello Tina, you are absolutly biased here. The point you are making seems to be that the Bible is correct and if we think it isn't correct we simply don't understand God's "higher thinking". The fact that you aren't a JW is irrelevant. You are clearly a Bible believer and even used a Bible verse to boister your point. This makes you quite heavily biased in a conversation in which the truth and validity of the Bible comes into question. Bible verses claiming itself to be true really bring nothing to the table in this sort of discussion.
I have to disagree with you LLoyd on blood transfusions. Because my mother was told on three occasions she would die if she didn't have blood transfusions, but had safe alternatives and lived for 44 years more until 94, my friend Christine also twice in her life was told she would die and lived a healthy life to create her own business with employees. Whereas in the 1980's 100's of people died in the UK of Aids and Hep.C after having blood and Factor 8 for treatment of Haemophilia. This blood was used by the NHS shipped from USA and obtained from druggies and winos and criminals because they got paid for their blood. This is public knowledge that has been showed in British TV many times, and is also considered an unsafe practice by well informed Medical Experts.
Cases of infected blood have tragically occurred but they are extremely rare. Even if it were only a 50/50 survival rate (which it isn’t) you would still roll the dice. The reasons for JWs refusing blood are strictly religious, not medical. It’s highly disingenuous to suggest otherwise.
I'm interested by the introduction of Jehovah "and Jesus" repeated. Is this a new development? A Twinity? Not three but One and a half gods? Why love Jesus? Can you love Jehovah and a man, who is also the archangel Michael. Does Jehovah not knows his angels' names? Is he Jesus or Michael?
Some terrible stuff here from JW - as always well commentated by you Lloyd. With particular regard to the story of Abraham and the almost murder of his son, I wondered if you'd read anything about the Bicameral Mind? The theory posits that the human mind once operated in a state in which cognitive functions were divided between one part of the brain which appears to be "speaking", and a second part which listens and obeys-a bicameral mind, and that the breakdown of this division gave rise to consciousness in humans. - from wikipedia
@morningglory9288, To me, Splane and his eight buddies make both God, and themselves, look more and more like the devil they also purport to believe in and fear.
I'm seeing all of the keyboard warrior comments but unless you have been there you have no idea. I grew up JW and it took me 10 years to become truly free after leaving the organization. It is generation after generation of indoctrination. I would never condemn someone for being in a religion because it is their belief system. It is the reality of life that has been taught to them since infancy. The difference is learning to "Not believe without Experience" It is Experience that should create the Belief not someones ideas or religious doctrine. That is easier said than done. All Religion is just that a Belief not an Experience of Reality. Belief is nothing more than someone's guess of reality becoming the reality of those that they have influence over. Don't give your power away, don't let someone control your Belief system and only allow Experience to create your Belief System! Reality is nothing what we all think that it is! It is Earth Shattering once you learn to control sleep paralysis you can go see for yourself what Reality is and not be enslaved to a Belief system but rather have a knowing from Experience. If you are reading this and are curious Darius J Wright is as prolific out of body traveler and if you are experiencing sleep paralysis this is your gateway to travel to the other side and YES that is where we are all going! You can learn from Experience by going there yourself rather than just someone telling you about the other side. Don't give your power away! Don't become a prisoner to any Religious organization. I was truly a prisoner in the most free country in the world! A psychological prisoner of a Religious Organization controlled by man! And No I am not being harassed by demons when in sleep paralysis. In all religions when those that are in power don't understand they demonize what is not explainable. One more thing that became the most profound statement. You cannot have unconditional love with a judgment. The Judgement creates a condition. Just Saying
The governing body needs to create an exception to all those baptised as minors that they can leave without being disfellowshipped, and thereby family access can be restored. But unfortunately you know they won't. My mother saying "yay,¡ we can wear pants now" will forever be burned into my brain forever. Redundancy detected but don't care 😂 lol as the cultiest thing I've heard in my life. I showed her heaven's gate uniforms and applewhite almost duplicates Lett. Lol
I've noticed that one of the GB love using Jesus's name often. Is it because he feels guilty for replacing Jesus or is it just to throw sand in people's eyes...? It's one of the latest to join the group.
OMG wasnt that a mature way to handle your questions
Seriously so much for good parenting skills not to mention the whole DF thing
Sorry for your pain and trauma
This cult has damaged so many of us
Happy to be out 🥳
This is so sad. Just horrific and cruel. It’s a wonder you survived emotionally.
😢
Glad you are out! Time to catch up with your siblings from that wasted time! It’s never too late!
This evil org DOES divide families!
I am so very sorry for the 7 year old you and the current day you. Anyone with a heart would have a very hard time getting over this trauma. This cult makes people behave so cruelly. 😢
@erinblue5872,
That's terrible that your parents would cause you for several years, starting at the age of 7-years-old, to go through such emotional agony making you constantly worry as to whether or not your older sister was doing alright or even alive after she was disfellowshipped because they refused to let her have any contact with you or your other siblings.
Even then, she is only allowed to say, "Hi." That's it.
Heartbreaking ❤
😢
😢😢😢
I’m so sorry. That’s heartbreaking. 😢 What are the new changes regarding this that you speak of?
If you’ve never been shunned, don’t talk about it. Period, end. If these idiots felt a FRACTION of the pain, they’d shut right up. ✌🏻
Exactly. This is how I feel about PIMOS too.
Why not too address the issue though/raise awareness? I think you might be saying don't tell those that are shunned how they should feel?
Thank you for this. I just cannot fathom this disgusting cult.
Having left decades ago, it is fascinating going down the rabbit hole again but this time from the outside. Great channel, new subscriber here and I'm thoroughly enjoying binging your videos.
Thanks so much! Welcome!
Disfellowshipping is beyond cruel.
I can't thank you enough for your all your fine, helpful videos. They made me woke up with all my family members. These selections are perfect.
Hey Lloyd I wanted to thank you for helping me get out of the JW organization 🙏🏽 I really loved your book and helped me lots.
I’m so pleased to hear that! Congratulations on your exit!
2023 was a real doozy. I appreciate you bringing some levity and seriousness to this Lloyd.
Thanks a lot Loyd for the good job❤❤
JWs are forever saying Jehovah will read peoples hearts. So the Abraham story was pretty stupid, if he could have just read Abraham's heart
You are absolutely right, and it's mind-blowing to realize that over 8 million people are not able to comprehend this.
@billsdoris,
Yep, but he instead of reading Abraham's heart he would ask basically his only loyal worshipper to murder his own child.
Thank you this is a good thread
Yes, more false teachings from the Watchtower; it is not "Jehovah" who reads hearts and minds, but Christ.😮
Great video. I miss your rebuttals
I do too!
Nice to hear one last "if Tibor is gracious "
Thank you Lloyd

''life is more than any of us deserves'' ???? they need to have a think before they say something
If life is more than we deserve, I would imagine that we were something else disgusting before becoming human..conscious of how disgusting we were...!! Gee maybe I was a disgusting tapeworm before being human!
Hi Lloyd, u're making my evening. thanks.
Love what you're doing Lloyd. Thank you for helping so many see through the nonsense.
@chriscampas-svensson461,
I agree.
I've been wating For it... Great work Lloyd!
Hey there Lloyd good to see again
Thanks for sharing this Lloyd.
Hi Lloyd , I really love your videos . The best x
Another long-form video! I’m here for it.
I love the way you say the harsh parts...the Truth, you are very kind but firm 😅
Thank you for keeping up your work, Lloyd. I'm glad to see you're still out here
Hi Lloyd, 👋😊
So glad that your video popped up 🥰
I don’t know how the hell you chose only 10…lol because they’re all bad! Every. Single. One. Of. Them. 🥴
Great work as always 😉
WOW, I had forgotten how depressing the talks are, it hurts my heart
I always found the Abraham story so disturbing, like what kind of kind, loving being would ever ask for something like that.
That dying kid who refused blood, you could just see the pain on his mom’s face sitting next to him. She knew she was helping killing her kid.
Elijah had his parents support during his medical trial.
Now imagine how much support he won’t get from them should he ever leave the religion…..
Ultra cringe and shocking manipulation. Well done for your work warning others and dissecting and showing the manipulation and programming
Once again want to thank you Lloyd, for watching these disgusting WT videos/talks. Your help is invaluable.
Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to taste the toxic “spiritual food”.
Thank you, Lloyd.
Don't commit. Others survived. You too can survive it. Just speak up to someone you trust.
I bet the GB are binge watching your channel, Lloyd.
Horrifying but as always nicely put together Lloyd. 😊
The blood issue has struck a cord with me.
I want to know what Ole Bottle Swilling Tight Pants Tony is up to these days......
Yip, Tony Morris was very entertaining.😂
Hopefully he’s deconstructing and repenting for leading people astray!
The JWs constantly remind me of the lyrics from the song Judith by A Perfect Circle, "you're such an inspiration for all the ways that I will never, ever choose to be". The kind of senseless, insane shit one has to choose to believe to be a part of that cult is astonishing.
Love A Perfect Circle and Tool!
Huh?
None of us deserve the misery of life.
The Caleb and Sophia cartoons are heartbreaking. The expressions on those poor kids' faces...maybe it's also to inure the adult watchers against letting their kids' sadness stop them doing 'Jehovah's will'?
"Abraham! Abraham! April fool! Ha !Ha! Ha!"
@JamesBRox-dv1pk,
That's what happens when you belong to a group that demonizes the concept of independent thinking, you surrender your critical thinking skills and so much of your autonomy over to someone else.
Yes. In past convention rebuttals I've even shown the convention outline to show the audience how closely the speaker must adhere to it.
Just the sound of their voices make me sick to my stomach
spot on Lloyd
They’re all terrible, but as a father, I think number 10 should be maybe a little bit higher. Great video as always Lloyd!
That’s disgusting that they took the little girl’s money! The JWs are lower than low
Period!
Hey Lloyd!
Lloyd , there is no one to take your place. I miss your take on the Witness Program. I’ll tell you why, because I’m not sure the ones that are popping up now are going to be fair like you. Not all ExJW, tell it straight. They still believe in God.
Good job brother left hall at 21 still feelings affects of alchol drugs at 53 thank you i may have hope.
@MrToast72,
Interesting theory, but I don't know if it holds much weight.
God SHUNNED satan by throwing him out of heaven, and not allowing him to return. Because he sinned
listen if anything the first video sounds a lot more like a demon playing with you then a loving god.......but i mean

@katew.9402,
Isaac don't look like no "boy" in this dramatized video, nor in the original version of the "MY BOOK OF BIBLE STORIES" storybook from 1978 (?). I wonder if the story of Isaac's near sacrifice by Abraham, which I imagine is fictional, was a reference to the ancient Israelites possibly having committed child sacrifice in the name of Yahweh before going on to condemn the practice outright?
Why do you still have all the old books on your shelves? I binned mine over 20 years ago.
@markwarrensprawson,
I largely agree.
@@b.w.7588 It's worse than tithing. They are constantly asking and begging for money! In this regard they have gotten worse than mainstream religion!
I feel like the speakers now are all starting to sound the same and they seem to be talking slower and slower… its weird

It bothers me so much 1:30 when they ask to imitate characters - and they don’t lead by example!
Well apply it!: this is addressed to Mark Sanderson which speaks Russian: IMITATE MOSES!! Go to PUTIN (the faroah) and ask to “let your people go!!!”
Thanks Lloyd for your opinion on Al these horrific, evil, culty organization videos!!! Miss the Broadcasting rebuttals! 😉
And I continue saying:
DOWN WITH THE TOWERRR!!!
@migdaliafuentes1618,
To me, Mark Sanderson is also morally bankrupt like Putin.
Did you see the 2024 convention song called Good News? Clearly this song is a Christmas song!
Folks need to sue if they bring in Christmas! I promise!
@@yepisaidit1507 Years ago the Jehovah's Witnesses did celebrate Christmas.
Or maybe like his profet Elijah said: he must be in the bathroom or he must be asleep!
@TinaGolik,
I don't really care what the Bible says, nor do I have to uphold it as authoritative on historical, moral, ritual or theological issues.
Amen
Hello Tina,
you are absolutly biased here.
Correction - mother lived for 54 more years.
Cases of infected blood have tragically occurred but they are extremely rare. Even if it were only a 50/50 survival rate (which it isn’t) you would still roll the dice. The reasons for JWs refusing blood are strictly religious, not medical. It’s highly disingenuous to suggest otherwise.
abraham was the master groomer, when it came to his wife/younger sister and his son.
Wow! Do you mean incest?
@@tamsinwood2 sister is that makes. I guess so, but maybe aba ham thought is was ok since sarah was only a half sister

But the ASL masterpiece (lol) video is missing😅
The merciful judge of all the earth who Splane says will do what is right, is none other but Satan the devil.
@morningglory9288,
To me, Splane and his eight buddies make both God, and themselves, look more and more like the devil they also purport to believe in and fear.
Just Saying
Jesus and all disciples never say Jehovah or Jehovah god in Bible. Governing body is Not in the Bible either
It's a clip show! 😊
Lol
Is it my imagination, or they now including Jesus more often in their speech?; "Jehovah AND Jesus".
I've noticed that one of the GB love using Jesus's name often. Is it because he feels guilty for replacing Jesus or is it just to throw sand in people's eyes...? It's one of the latest to join the group.
