When I went to the Apple store to buy my first iPad, the sales guy was helping me set it up. When we got to the terms and conditions, I asked him, "If I agree, will Apple kidnap me and turn me into a Human CentiPad?" The guy laughed. I had to say it.

You know what, I always thought that episode where Kyle eats cartmans farts was pretty weird and like “how is Kyle possibly willing to do this” but I’m pretty sure that came after this episode, and after what he went through here he probably didn’t have any issue with farts 😂
The reason kyle ate his farts was because cartman saved the middle east by the ginger cow he made i believe and kyle didnt want cartman to tell the abrahamic religions that their threeway cow prophecy was wrong so cartman told him to eat his farts so he wouldnt tell on him

"Clearly this IS the future" is a great line from Gerald. Classic South Park showing that no one has learnt anything from what has happened or acknowledged that it was insane.
there's a documentary specifically about this episode, called '6 days to air'. it shows how they make each episode in about 6 days
That's why this episode will always be special to me. I wish they had more we could watch that showed more BTS of other episodes.
My favourite South Park character Kyle has had some pretty bad things happen to him over the years, but getting kidnapped by Apple and being turned into, well you know, that has to be the worst thing that has happened to him in my opinion.

Fun fact, unethical terms and condictions can't be legally enforced regardless if someone agreed to it so if this happened irl Apple couldn't do any of this.

Useless trivia: Trey and Matt updated their Apple software when the started discussing about the terms and conditions, wondering what are you really agreeing to. They went to a meeting, when a guy walked in and told them about the online trailer for the Human Centipede movie. Trey and Matt watched the trailer online, and it all came together. Human centipede…iPad…human centiPad.
You should definitely watch “6 days to air” I believe that’s what it’s called, it’s a documentary about how they make this show, it’s how they’ve done it since they beginning and still do (my dad worked on it in the first couple seasons and the movie, and he’s also worked on the last few seasons). They air an episode, sit down the next day and start coming up with ideas for that weeks episode. In those 6 days they have to write it, have it animated and voice acted and ready to go, and I believe they’ve only once ever had to push the air date back or something recently. The documentary is about this episode, and though it isn’t a fan favorite nor a favorite for the creators, it’s a super cool insight into how they come up with the ideas and how it turns into what you see

They had to re-do a lot of the work of season 20 because they didn’t believe that trump had any chance of winning and the new series was out just after the 2016 election concluded. That’s why season 20 is nowhere near as good as season 19.
It's a great little documentary. The creators have such great minds that it's awesome to see how a struggle it can be. Demystifies them, but you respect them even more.

This episode freaked me out when I first watched, I had no idea there was a movie with this concept. I even skipped the intro to avoid seeing it again.
I think I had seen some mention online about Human Centipede before this South Park episode came out. But something that had completely evaded my radar was The Purge, which I heard about for the first time when an episode of Rick and Morty spoofed it.
I forget which comic said this:

What made Steve Jobs a 'genius' is not technology but marketing. There is pretty much nothing Apple is known for that is original to them technology-wise.
Steve Jobs realized that what creates good sales is not really about making something better but making it seem 'cooler' with overwhelming marketing.

I know people will probably never read this but, some of the agreements do have crazy clauses if you stop to read them. One of them was your 1st born. Don't remember what software it was.

You really need to see their documentary 6 Days to Air or whatever (as others have mentioned). It's really cool to see their creative process and what goes on behind the scenes. Definitely worth it.

There is no joke here. It's a masterpiece episode and may be the most important thing that south park has done.
There was one company that put a method to redeem around 10k dollars in their terms of service, and it was like 6 months before anyone claimed it lol.

Tbh this episode was so fucking tormenting to watch,i wanted to throw up from rage especially since Kyle is one of my favorite characters. I know its just a cartoon too but i literally felt so bad for him😭✋and then of course i had to look at some clips on the movie it was based on.
I don't know if you're much of a gamer but the two South Park video games (Stick of Truth and Fractured but Whole) are exceptional South Park content. Stick of Truth is actually my favorite bit of South Park content, more so than the TV show and movie.
Most of the time terms and conditions are premade blocks, usually they're always the same thing from company to company since it's premade blocks. The only part you should read if you really cared would be the end of the terms and conditions since that's where extra things are added onto the preexisting block.

We don't read subscriber agreements, terms and conditions, etc. because to do so would be an onerous task and serve no purpose. Since there is no opportunity to negotiate what clauses are included or omitted, it's a take it or leave it adhesion contract. Since no meeting of minds occurs, these contracts are legally weak, but rely on ignorance and inability to pay for endless litigation as a strong intimidator.
When I see cartman like that I love to watch the episode with Wendy fighting Eric lol it’s epic

Even if it meant my kid was part of a Humancentipad I would never join the Apple cult.
It’s not the fact that we don’t read the agreements that’s the problem.
Declining them and still being able to use the devices isn’t always possible.
Plus they write it in legalese. They are long. And there is a new one every week sometimes.
They also discourage reading them by asking if agree without showing the conditions.
Blaming people for not reading them is the the same as blaming them for being played.
I know about the difficulty declining terms and conditions from FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. South Park making the solution seem easy and blaming the consumer for Apples invasions of privacy, is typical victim blaming.
I like South Park and see the value in their mix of silly satire. My favorite bring comparing political campaigns to choosing between a turd and a doche. Which seems more relevant which each election cycle.
However I don’t always agree with them as you can see.
Having to go to the kidnappers (Apple) to rescue the kid is also messed up.
The victims/consumers are vilified, the kidnappers are heroes?
That doesn’t seem like sentiments that most South Park watchers or people in general would agree to outright.
That being said, this is one of my favorite Cartman episodes.

This is the dumbest half hour of television ever (miraculously) aired. It's also full of some of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life. "Oh no! Cuddrefish is about to come outta my asshole! Here it comes. Oh, it's going to be a rot! Hord on, Kyru! I BERIEVE IN YOUUUUUUUU!" It's been years and that still randomly pops into my head way more often than it should and I still laugh out loud every single time it does. When people ask me what I'm laughing about I'm like "...heh...heheh...don't worry about it."

Forget which country it was, but there was something earlier this year with a lawsuit/potential ruling that locking out users from something because they didn't accept the ToS was being looked into as not legal since it's completely illogical to expect any sane person to look at a completed legal document, complete with legalese writing style, every single time any application or software had an update. Not sure what came of it though.
This is my favorite episode of South Park.
One more thing when you get one of those updates if you say I don't agree want to just not update at all how does everyone else get it updated if they don't agree

The fact that he plays stupid to his mom when he clearly is creating a public scene that he knows will absolutely destroy his mother. He even requested condoms and a smoke…yeah he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. With all that being said, I am so glad that I had a wonderful son that never threw temper tantrums if he wasn’t able to get something he seen at the store. I wasn’t always financially stable when he was younger. He would ask for something and I would have to tell him that I would love to (because he was such a great understanding child) but I just couldn’t buy it at that time. I could tell it bummed him out but he would say to sweetly, “It’s okay mom, I understand. Maybe one day.” He was so sweet about it that it would just Jill me inside that I couldn’t get what he was asking for. BUT there were times where others would notice his behavior and would surprise him with the item he had asked about before we were out of the store. And of course he was so thankful. That boy is going to do great things one day. He’ll probably be someone that will give back to his community because he knows how tough things used to be for us and he will see that in others and offer to help. I just know it. I have never seen someone display so much compassion and empathy. I am truly blessed to have him for a son.
This particular episode I absolutely cannot hear in their voices, just trey and Matt in the studio 😂

this is one of my favorite episodes. My other favorite episode is S12F06 called over logging about losing internet. Ps I think I have only read the full agreement twice.

I only agree to terms and services without reading on my WWE PS and XBox games. I almost got scammed by a survey company today, but I read the TC and saw something that alerted me to surprise fees, so I never registered completely
After seeing Cartman got hit by a lightning bolt and ended up in the hospital makes me satisfied.
