There is a principle and even culture of ‘treating’ yourself and if you internalise this you begin to indulge for even the slightest bit of work or effort or self declared achievement, e.g to the point after a ‘long’ day, weeks work you treat yourself with some unhealthy or unhelpful consumption or purchase.

May Allah make the change start with ourselves.

As salaam wa alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
The intro is a poem on the deen by Ibn Taymiyyah recited by Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan himself (the speaker). If you search for "Recitation of Laamiyah attributed to Ibn Taymiyyah" you should find it on the same channel. I hope this strengthens your deen.
I would have helped you no matter what but if I could ask anyone reading to please spare a moment to make a dua for my mother's health and for Allah to grant her Hidaya I would be most grateful.

      Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O `Abdullah! Have I not been formed that you fast all the day and stand in prayer all night?" I said, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" He said, "Do not do that! Observe the fast sometimes and also leave them (the fast) at other times; stand up for the prayer at night and also sleep at night. *Your body has a right over you,* your eyes have a right over you and your wife has a right over you."
