I think that he lacks gym day. Running is good but I believe that he doesn't rain his upper muscles well enough.
I believe he could do well enough with just using dumbbells at home.
to be honest at an age of almost 50 years old, I can see why he is getting thin but still, his smile is what all it matters!... but also he's becoming like an uncle from looks
He had a bit of a fatty liver according to his doctor, so he began dieting. He made a twit about it. He looks fine in the expo photo. In a previous photo of him showing off merch, he looked kind of gaunt. So he changed his diet to something better, or began weight lifting recently.

But all in all Yagoo is currently following a diet but he's fine
Yagoo recently tweeted about it and the reason is that at a recent health checkup his doctor informed him that he was dealing with fatty liver disease and so he has been on a diet to reduce his body fat, he is also planning to do more anaerobic training to increase his strength and muscle mass.

He had to get rid of his fatty liver first, that is why he chanfed his diet. It will take years to heal because of his workload, until then we will see a thin tanigo for a long period.

He was diagnosed with fatty liver disease, which is completely treatable with diet and exercise. So although he won't look plump anymore, he's definitely healthier with his new lifestyle.
IIRC Yagoo's doctor was worried about him (something about fatty liver) and that's why he was so serious about losing weight.
There's 2 ways to lose fat deposits in the liver.
1. Lose weight as Yagoo did
2. Eat beef and eggs. Apparently there are 2 proteins that are found in eggs and beef in ample amounts that actually cause the fat to be released from the livr cells and go into the blood stream. (Basically Yagoo was probably drinking a little too much and perhaps drinking too much drinks with high fructose corn syrup, both of which cause fatty liver.

He looks thin but he doesn't look stressed anymore. I thought it may have been the Billion Yen studio that stressed him out so much and it looks like that was one of the reason. He looks so much better now that the studio is up and running 👌
Yeah I think what made those pictures look bad is that his face looked gaunt and his eyes had big dark bags, both likely caused more by lack of sleep.

I feel Yagoo's pain. A few years ago I went from being overweight to about the middle of "normal" for my height and my parents were convinced I had cancer or something.

It probably did help to reverse the fatty liver, getting that thin. I've also got a fatty liver and should also lose some weight, but I don't have the will power of a Japanese person on a diet.

I was slightly worried when I saw a random picture of Yagoo looking thin but seeing him at Anime Expo he just looked very healthy and lively and YOUNG! It literally looks like he’s 10 years younger than when he was on Holotalk.
I think that yagoo's problem right now is not that he is to thin but that he doesn't work out his muscles.
Like he runs but his muscles are to small and running doesn't help much with chest muscles, arms and back muscles (it still does but not much).
So I believe that what he lacks is not eating but gym days.

Running every morning and eating like he does burns all the fat from your system. A healthy man usually has at least some muscular mass. If you don't work your muscles by weight lifting, you end up looking way too thin, even if you are healthy.

Yagoo my man, going low body fat is OK, but you need to buff up first before you shred. Some weight training to put on metabolically healthy muscle mass to fill out again would do some wonders I think. Cardio every day is probably overkill.
