We came a couple times to visit our son in Oklahoma during the summer, too HOT for me lol. We change our visits to around Christmas time much better. Love cowboys color. Hope the ankle is better.
Senior Grandmother never seen this kind of pasture wire.Happy Fourth of July weekend hope you don’t have to work on the Fourth of July. Glad your ankle is better. You made putting the wires up look so easy.God Bless the family and stay safe this weekend
I appreciate all of your effort and knowledge that has been demonstrated, but I need to know the mechanics of the electric fence box and plugging in and connection and grounding, etc.
Nice system to go around the nice farm - you did an awesome job - give those goats some credit - they didn't want to be snapped - lol - have a nice week !!!!
If I remember correctly from watching other farm channels, the poly wire gets brittle and needs to be replaced about every 5 years, 6 years if you are lucky. Do you want to restring some or all of your pastures every 4-6 years, depending on whether you stagger doing different pastures in different years or restring it all in the same year? I feel sorry for Cowboy, crying so much for his mama that he is getting hoarse. Cowboy is such a handsome goat, “dressed” with “boots”.
I wish you would have videoed your brother testing the wire. I always think it's funny when people do that. *Evil laugh* also we've never met your brother. At least I don't remember him. The curly haired grandma that was in this video is your mom right? I think I remember Tonya's mom having longer hair like her. Either that or I'm thinking of someone else's mom. Lol.
The older lady in this video is Tonya’s mom. My mom has been in a lot of videos and we just call her Memaw. My brother was in a few of my early videos but not in much of them now, he says he doesn’t like to watch himself.
Looks like Y'all did a great job to me. You sound like my brother, he used to tell me to touch the wire it wouldn't hurt. That worked until I got old enough to know better. Hope your Dr appointment went well. Take care and stay safe out there. GOD BLESS Y'ALL. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY 🇺🇸💖🇺🇲
Poor Cowboy cried so hard and long that he got laryngitis... LOL Smart idea using the wooden fence posts you already have up. That allowed it to be tighter I think than it would have been with the other posts. Looks good . So did any of the gpats test it or did the feel the electrical current and leave them alone? Thanks for sharing. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you, your family and your adventures.
Incase anyone hasn’t answered, you can connect copper to another metal, is these applications it’s typically stainless, you just need to add compound to the connections, the brand name is “Nolox” you can get it at home depot in the electrical aisle by the breakers. I’m an application like this, I doubt you’ll see any sort of corrosion anytime soon to the point you would ever have to worry about it
While you were standing next to the buckling I heard that wire-net fencing popping pretty hard... is it designed to touch the ground? I've been thinking about hot net for my piglets.

Just a word from someone who has used poly wire, it has about a 5 year life before it gets brittle and starts to break, enjoyed the video
Good work on the new fencing. Looks great. Those bucklings are some noisy buggars. Ha.💕
Thank you Janet. Each day gets a little easier for the bucklings so its less noisy each day as well
Happy Fourth of July weekend God bless your family and be safe

The Poly wire steel is stainless steel. I use it around my garden to keep rabbits and deer out. Same spacing as your using.
Is it working well to keep deer out for you?
How did you make sure you had good ground, black wire, off power supply?

Great video. Just be careful coiling the wire it can over heat and start a fire.
🙏💞

Poor cowboy, he really misses his mama. He just sounds so pitiful…lol
