Grandma Margaret, it was so nice to see you had at least a tiny speaking part of the video. 😉 It was so nice of your son to hold the camera while you, Tonya, and Braxton labored to move the fence, and rake the pine straw back so it wouldn't short out. 😏😅 Great team work! That fence is so easy to work with. I hope Myke, and Tonya are enjoying their vacation. God bless.
She’s like Tonia she talks too much I have to edit most of it out I’ll she’ll take over the channel. Thanks for watching Joanne we had fun making this video
Been thinking about the Premier ! fencing for our goats. Might get a smaller fence to let them graze outside their area. Thanks for sharing Myke. God Bless.
Thanks for checking out our video. The net fencing is awesome for our small operation. I see you have a rather large channel. Im over there now checking out you Homemade Tomatillo video. Very good… and looks tasty. I subbed and will probably be benge watching. Are y’all Sooner Fans? Boomer Sooner!
Hey…That’s cool!! Try those flat enchiladas they’re awesome!! We’ve actually been watching your channel for a little while now. The Johnny’s Grill short is what got my attention. I actually grew up in ElReno. I ate there almost every day in junior high.😁. I miss it.
@@addisonranch wow El Reno…. I grew up in Yukon and my wife grew up in Banner. Most of her family went to El Reno but she went to Yukon High School. We love Johnie’s Burgers.
Great job putting up the fence. Grandma was a big help raking up the straw. She was helping with the fence then when I didn't see her I thought she got tired. But then you showed her raking. Raking up straw is a hard job. Hope Y'all are enjoying your vacation. ENJOY, HAVE FUN AND STAY SAFE. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
This was a full family collaboration. Everybody did their part to get the job done. Myke doesn't Premier 1 have the posts with the spikes that you can press in the ground with your foot to start it ? . I know that you would probably still have to pound them in some. Or did I misunderstand? Thanks for sharing. I hope that you had an amazing time on vacation ! Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you, your family and your adventures.
We did have an amazing time on vacation margie and yes you can step on these to put them in and we usually do except we haven’t had any rain lately and the ground is hard as a rock so we have to use a sledgehammer
@@FowlerFamilyFarm I've noticed that just about everybody who lives in Oklahoma complains about the ground either how hard it is or how many rocks are.
You read my mind! (You’ll see in my next video ;) This video was super helpful, just what I needed. Also, I don’t have a grounding rod... do I need to get one for my battery powered fence energizer?
I have bought fencing like this not premier 1 I got it at fleet farm only because I needed it that day, I was thinking about buying premier 1’s fencing seems it stands up better then the fencing I have! But one thing that I don’t like about the mobile fencing I am always putting them in areas other sticks etc and I have to pick them out and get the area where I put the fence very prepared! I dislike pounding those into the ground I hit my hand so many times I started wearing gloves 🥴🤣
Are all your goats polled? This type of fence almost killed two of my goats because they got their horns and necks stuck in it. I luckily heard them screaming and had to put several cuts in the fence to get them out. I'd never use it again for goats.
Sure wish I had known about this type of fencing years ago when we had goats. I bought the Premier 1 164 ft poultry netting a few months back and was surprised by the fact I cannot carry it alone. It was heavier than expected. But I'm older and have back issues along with arthritis. Need to get some bungee straps to make it easier I guess? but would still have to drag it. I plan to use it to help move goats from section to section and just buy smaller version for the chickens. Did you find you had trouble trying to go it alone also? I just didn't plan to have to have help to move it. Help is nice and especially with family involved like yours but they are not always available.
Sorry for the late reply on this… for some reason your comment was put in my hold for review. Mine are 100ft sections and I can move it by myself but im exhausted afterwards. Our ground is easy to just lay it down and pull, but I wouldn’t do that if it was ruff terrain. The 164ft i would probably need help as well. I need to make something to help me move each fence by myself.
Grandma Margaret, You go Maam! (that's pc talk is a good thing.) Good to see you trying new things.
Yeah she loves coming out to the farm and helping
Good video Mike and family. Hope you guys are having a great vacation!!!

@@FowlerFamilyFarm actually. ……….No, their all pretty good. I think my favorite is the Mr Cool series.
Mine is the Tesla. Or workbench video
I've never seen electric netting before.. goats are very funny animals..
Yes the goats are pretty funny actually make this netting for chickens as well
@@FowlerFamilyFarm oh I didnt know that.. we have one bird that enjoys life on the other side of the fence 😂
We just put the ones we have left back in the coop no more free range and sleeping in the barn.

@Fowler Family Farm no...Fencing plans. Haven’t got the fence set up yet
Gotcha
Have there been any problems with the solar charger or goats going through the fence?

Hey Phillip… Thanks for subbing. Its been awhile since High School in Yukon. Let me know what ya think of the videos. Still kinda new at this.
Sure like that Reckless Beef shirt 👍🏻👊🏻 Nice work y’all.
Thanks Cassie,Tonya loves the shirt she says it fits perfect
What is the bulk feed an where do you get it from…
I get the feed anout 20 miles away at a farmers coop and its called MaxiGain its a 4n1 combination and is 12% to 14% protein
Grandma Margaret seems to be pretty handy! How many goats do you run together in that much fencing?
3 does and 1 buck. Thanks Lorie I sent you an email last nite.
@@FowlerFamilyFarm I replied
We have the hog fencing starter kit from premier one. Works well. We only use it as a temp fencing solution
Yeah thats what I was gonna do. Its become temporary permanent solution for now haha
