This is everything for me! I lost my cousin which was really my brother cause his mom my aunt was done with him at 14 and he lived with us afterwards! My mom was an iv drug user for years and of course she knew the struggle he had for the rest of his life! Many years in and out of prison and no fail my mom always took care of her baby boy! This song screams J and the and how he wasn’t a bad person his addiction just always overcame him! I too spent years in an addiction to meth and got out and so I always knew who he really was…those burglary of a habitations were for the addiction! Well my mom passed December of 2018 and after doing good for a bit before that he went back for 8 years! I got a call in September he was hanging out with the boys on his bunk, stood up, collapsed and was doa at the hospital at 43 years old! I can’t help but to be happy for him to be back with our Big Mama as she liked to be called! DL’s hand movements are exactly the same as J and so I find so much comfort in being able to watch this video knowing he is going to be alright! Thanks again for this! I am forever grateful for this real ass truth on addiction! It’s not always bad people doing dumb shit! 😘😘😘😘
