There is the Boone Platation which was the house used as Allie's parents summer home and going back it was also used as the Main Plantation home Mont Royal in North and South where Patrick Swayze's character Orry Main's family owned.
I would love to see a tour of the other beautiful house in "The Notebook" also. The retirement home, where Noah and Allie passed away. I believe I read that it is outside of Georgetown, SC. Georgetown is on the very southern tip of Myrtle Beach, SC. Thanks! :) David Slater Indian Trail, NC
How about the Jefferson Manson at Jefferson Island, Louisiana. Jefferson was an actor from New York who came down to South Louisiana to get away. In the 1950s it was still pretty much the same as when it was built. Jefferson Island is a salt dome not an island.
The home that was in Forrest Gump, also the homes from Steel Magnolias, the home from Hope Floats that was where Gena Rowlands and Sandra Bullocks characters lived.
I have actually been to the homes from Steel Magnolia’s … Shelby’s home is actually a bed and breakfast in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Had a wonderful stay there for my 22nd Birthday! And I also visited the home from Hope Floats, located in Somerville, Texas
