I speak the same way when I’m trying to explain difficult/important situations. It’s because I want to make it as easy to understand and feel what I feel/felt. He’s working to invoke the same emotion in YOU that he feels/felt (to be better understood, not to manipulate you into something). Hence the choice of words and slower delivery. He is typically a very calm and well composed gentleman. That is often a word that was used to describe him even from his teenage days. So many stories from people I personally know all reflect back to this is the real johnny. The shy honest gentleman who endured many years of abuse that is now trying to clear his name for the sake of his children mainly. That is what this is all a really truly about.

Was it a natural reflex when you hear a story?! Did she forgot she's on trial..!! -I wish someone would put that scene somewhere, cause that really the only thing interested me from her side these last days, and want to remember what was he talking about at the time-! Overall, I got the impression that he wanted to tell everyone his side of the story.. he was silenced for too long and this is his opportunity!! That's why he wanted this televised.

I'm in the JD camp, but his conversational speed isn't the problem, it's that his 15 min diatribes, which often don't even answer the question, I believe are hurting him with the jury. Every time opposing counsel points out their respect for the Court's and Jury's time, I think they score another point with the jury unfortunately. The latitude the Judge is giving him is wild. While I agree that his desire to paint a picture is important, I think his lawyers should suggest he save the lengthy responses for the "How did you feel" questions and the questions that can be answered in yes/no or three sentences should be. He's also allowing the Defense lawyers to get to him and his snarky responses may not bode well. Amber seems like an awful human, so I hope he prevails, but his team needs to reign him in quickly. 🙏🏼
